Following on from the Lush thread and a proposed thread idea in there, what are your rewards?

When I was on WW, After a good WI result and if I had been good, I would treat myself to a takeaway. Pointed of course.

However on CD this is not possible and I've came to realise that rewarding myself with food is not the way to go. Have even stopped offering babysat children a sweetie for being good as I don't want to foster the same attitude in them that led to me being overweight.

So on CD I have drawn myself up the following rewards.

Daily/as I go:
Nice coffee for the espresso machine. Its one of the few things that I can have allowable.

I'm going to get a special nice Cambridge mug. If I'm going to be drinking shakes for the next 12 weeks, its going to be from something nice

Scour Ebay and charity shops for interim clothing. Max spend of £10 a week. This may not sound a lot, but I recently bought 2 tops and 1 pair of trousers and a bra from ebay for £11 recently. That a week will be enough to keep me going easily!

Weight rewards:

When I get to 13 stone - Pedicure
When I get to 12.5 stone - Night out on the town! (I'm a student so don't actually get out that much!)
When I get to 12 stone - Massage - 1 hour long
When I get to 11.5 stone - Spa day
When I get to 11 stone - New pair of knee high boots. Ones that cost more than £10 from Primark!
When I get to 10 stone 7lbs -

I'll be at goal so I'll have whatever I flippin' well want! SPA WEEKEND is most definitely looking likely here though, or a weekend in Amsterdam with a friend. Maybe the husband. Not decided yet. I want it to be something big though!

Oh and sexy new Jammies. I love my PJ's so this may seem a bit twee to some but seriously its important! A new Wardrobe too!

And I might get a small tattoo to commemorate the new me.

Its happening this time!

Whats yours? Do you have an item of clothing that you aim into? Mines is this:

I also used to treat myself to a takeaway when doing WW- but like you say, its such a bad habit to reward yourself with food. I think I'll be using pampering treats from now on.

The clothing item I am aiming to fit into in a beautiful deep purple bridesmaids dress that I'm wearing as chief bridesmaid at my sisters wedding in September. Love that dress though Lexie- can't wait until I have a waist to wear a belt around ;) ;)

Beautiful frock Abz.....if that isn't a reason to stick to CD I don't know what is!! xx I'm putting a £ for every lb I lose into a pot, then when I get to target I'll have a little bit to splash out on new clothes. I also have a very sexy black lycra dress I wore once (last time I lost weight and got to target, which was approximately oooohhhh 10 years ago). Ideally I'd like to wear it during the summer on a night out, failing that it will be fab for Christmas! xx

ooooooo Lexie...

I an emotional eater so have always rewarded myself with treats.. but from now on uhuh.

I rewarded myself today to some lush products just for getting through week 1..
I have a few things I want to do as I reach goal though...

An old friend of mine recently got a beautiful tattoo and so yes I am very tempted!
I will be getting a whole new wardrobe (well the contents anyway)
I want to have my hair cut short and move away from dowdy.

Probably a lot of other stuff too!

Not sad at all. I bought myself that blue cocktail dress in a size 12.

I see it everytime I open my wardrobe to remind me what I'm aiming for. It doesnt matter what it is, its YOUR goal!

I want to be able to fit into these two beauties:

And then after that... well I've probably just want to stand in front of a mirror naked and marvel at how much weight I've lost :8855::8855:

I have a pair of true religion jeans and a pair of rock and republic jeans hanging on the wardrobe door to keep me focused. They are a size 10 and brand new. I also have some tops and things that are new and size 10 and a wardrobe full of my old 8/10 clothes that I would love to fit in to. Don't think I will ever fit in an 8 again but if I can get to a 10 then that would be amazing!

I also can't wait to go to my favourite restaurant when i reach goal weight, know that may sound a bit daft but I always ate healthily in there anyway, prawn linguine mmm.

ooooooh.... lovely dress Abz!

I started at 16st 3ish... rewarded myself with a haircut when i lsot my first stone, then when i got into the 14's i rewarded myself with a massage, now i'm in the 13's i haven't quite decided what to treat myself with... any suggestions!? maybe some fake bake would be nice, but i never go anywhere that needs to look good, plus it all costs money doesn't it!

I've been picking up clothes from charity shops... maybe when i get to a size 12 i will treat myself to a proper pair of jeans... not an asda or matalan special!!

Look at your local beauty college. Students are always looking for guinea pigs, and although you will have to pay its not as much as the high street.

I recently got a whole head colour and a lovely new cut for £9.50!
