rice with cabbage and beans

1 tin chopped tomatoes
rice
cabbage
barlotti beans
1 onion
salt


slice onion thinly, and fry till golden brown (do not burn). Add tin of chopped toms and half a can off cold water, and a little salt about half a tea spoon. Cook for half hour, keep stirring.


While this is cooking shred the cabbage, then add to sauce. Add about hafl a pint off water to cabbage and cook till cabbage is nearly done then add the rice and stir all together. When the rice is cooked add a tin of barlotti beans and srit. Cook for a further 10 mins or till you think the rice is cooked. You may need too add more water if it starts sticking. Check for salt
