Sausage on a mission - veggie green days diary

Peas on Earth
Hiya :)

I am 6 weeks away from my one year SW anniversary. I have been faffing about for weeks and have lost my mojo. Week days are fine, but weekends are a real struggle.

I am starting this diary to try to keep my focus for the coming 6 weeks. I would like to get below the 200 lb mark for my SW birthday.

Every day is a green day as I am vegetarian. I follow the plan at home with the help of the wonderful folk of the Sunday Weighers thread.

Breakfast:
porridge made with skimmed milk (hexB + hexA)
banana, strawberries and grapes on top

Lunch:
apple, cheese beano (hexB + hexA)

Snacks:

Hi Sausage,

I am following your diary now too :). If you need any syns looking up, please let me know. I'm happy to look them up for you (although I'm sometimes not on here until late). Well done for starting this. Look forward to hearing how you're going to tackle this weekend.

Big hugs.

Ooh hello Sausage! :D How nice to see you've started your own diary! Already I'm liking it as I have that mushroom loaf recipe on my 'to do' list and it's good to see a picture of it (love diaries with pix in!). It's also always good to see other people's take on green days as I'm also quite 'samey' and in need of new, easy ideas.

I hope the diary helps keep you on track, you're right the weekends can be a nightmare. I've enjoyed doing my diary and think it may have helped, it's good to be a bit 'answerable' even if it is only to anonymous readers!

Lots of luck anyway, will keep popping in to see how you're getting on! x

Lucyloo - the lentil loaf is really lovely and I have tweaked Grumble's original recipe a bit to make it only 2 healthy extras for the whole thing.

Hiya Beegee - since starting this diary on Monday I have been a lot more mindful of what I am eating so so-far-so-good. I was in a yo-yoing rut (if that's possible) so any change in my routine, such as keeping a diary, is good to help re-focus. I will add a pic of tonight's dinner - just veggie red stuff and cheese so not very photogenic

Wow!! Congratulations - that's a great result, what a way to get back on track.
Your food yesterday looks delicious - is that the bhaji recipe from here or is it your own creation? I bet it seems really 'treaty'. Also, I must make burgers, they are so simple but seem so naughty, especially with a big pile of SW chips or wedges. I'm getting lots of ideas from you SS!
