I go to my Mummy and baby group on a Thursday too!!!! We are lucky as we get a choice of raisins, red grapes OR biscuits... so if I fancied a snack at least I could pick somthing healthy. I'm normally pretty good tho and just stick to a cup of tea!
Looks like you are doing really well Hun! Don't worry about the weekend, you are good the rest of the time so that's the main thing xxx
 
2nd Weigh In

So hopped on the scales this morning, I think I am becming a bit obsessive in terms of how I weigh myself, I absolutely have to weigh myself in my pants, and I take my watch off too! (like that makes all the difference?!)

I lost another 4lbs so well pleased - mind you it has been over a week since my last weigh in. Heavy weekend coming up again, have a religious thing coming up on Saturday which will involve food (quelle surprise!) but this 4 pound loss has given me some much needed motivation, I was beginning to do the self sabotage thing of thinking WW is too slow a method to shift weight, I mean i have a long way to go and working out how long it will take me to get to goal at a rate of 1-2lbs loss a week got me thinking all sorts of negative thoughts - not a good idea and I wouldn't reccommend it to others - anyhoo onwards and upwards as they say.

So, 4lbs off, into the 13's and 1 mini goal achieved.

Bring on the next mini goal!

Oat So Simple w/Skimmed Milk from Milk Allowance: 1.5pnts

Lunch: 2 small pieces of toast with cheese : don't know - what make the bread was or what cheese as it was made for me.

Dinner:
Mixed Sabzi (veg) curry, with pilau rice, raita, 2 nans

Late Night Snack:
4 slices of WW bread with low fat spread: 4pnts


Sunday 31st Jan 2010


Milk Allowance:
1 Pint of Skimmed Milk: 2pnts

Breakfast;
Oats So Simple made up with Milk Allowance: 1.5pnts

Lunch:
Toast with low fat spread: 4pnts

Dinner:
Chick Pea curry with large portion of plain boiled basmati rice: guesstimating 6/7pnts for rice and 5 for the curry.

Snacks;
Fruit Chaat: ?


As you can see I haven't really pointed, I find I tie myself in knots trying to point food that I haven't cooked or don't have the nutritional values for.

Weekends always include some family event so for the sake of my sanity it makes sense (to me) to just go with the flow a) because I am self conscience about dieting - I don't wish to advertise to everyone and b) I would rather lose the "all or nothing" mind set of previous weight loss attempts and try and make healthy choices where ever I can.

Anyhoo I have no doubt I went over my 22 points and used up some if not all off my saved points. But today is another day and so I have cleared up my saved points and I am starting from 0 saved points and 22pnts for the day.

Much calmer and obviously hungrier person today, I hate wasting food and sooo annoyed that I didn't eat last night however I didn't binge either which is normally my MO following an argument or anything vaguely confrontational and upsetting. Anyhoo, another day fresh start as it were.

3rd Weigh In

So hopped on the scales and I have lost 2lbs! yay! another loss, have to say my self sabatager voice was kinda itching to say "what?! only 2lbs!" BUT I have to keep reminding myself the slower it comes off the less likely I am to pile it all back again and then some by just looking at a bread roll. Lighter Life this isn't!.

I am mainly positive about WW, and trying to do the whole 1 day at a time thing, but it is difficult, years of yo yo dieting coupled with that voice in my head who sometimes reminds me that it is going to take me a while to get to goal can make me a bit low at times.

But delighted nevertheless with the result.

Had a crap weekend both relationship and food wise, didn't point anything and basically ate what I wanted which included biscuits, curries, desserts etc etc. I woke up this morning feeling bloated and sluggish not to mention really crappy for indulging in what was basically emotional eating (another row).:(:cry::mad:

Trying to get back on track today.

I'm really sorry you're having a bad time at the moment! But well done on your loss last week, and you've plenty of time to have another loss this friday. It's so easy to emotionally eat, so don't beat yourself up.
