Don't you dare move your thread missy........!!!!! This is an exante thread so will be people doing TS and WS....plus I'd miss you xx

I completely agree!!! Loved the food porn :) and I don't think the food was too bad at all :) well done on the restraint :)

Yay...food porn surely does it for me lol xx

I am indulging in food porn big time, it's a bit out of hand now - I spent the other night reading cookery books all evening, I spend all day at work on Minis and on recipe websites, I fantasize about things to eat, look at restaurant menus, speak about food... Oh lord!! Maybe I need shock aversion therapy a la Clockwork Orange...xx

OMG....sounds like I'm reading about myself! The food addiction is mighty crazy isn't it. The last time I did a VLCD it sent me nuts...I started writing recipe books, taping loads of food progs on the sky planner and just absorbing myself in food! Obviously did the trick tho as nothing passed my lips for 8 whole months!!!

Wow fantastic - did you not have breaks/AAM weeks in that whole 8 months?

I suppose at the end of the day we have to start eating again at some point so it's good to start thinking about what we might eat to stay healthy and slimmer but actually enjoying our food as well. I also miss cooking when I'm on this diet. I made some delish, squishy, cinnamon-y banana bread the other evening (sorry food porn again). It smelt lovely but it was tough not to lick out the bowl afterwards...xx

You are so right. Nothing passed my lips in 8 months as was doing a different plan and knew nothing about AAM/ WS (sure wish I had) I even went through christmas and easter with nothing. So weird. Think this was is much better tho as it builds our healthier relationships with food again which I'm really enjoying and also nice not to feel to pig out after eating anything.

I love cooking too- having a full baking day on Fri to make godies for my mum who's having a charity do so that should be hard but will sure smell scrummy x

I just watched CDWM - love it!! Supersize I always end up watching although I'm not sure why.

Friend just texted saying she'll take me to Nandos this week with her luncheon vouchers. Can't turn down a free meal can I?? I haven't been out with her for ages (well I have but she was drunk the last two times and I was a bit fed up). I know I shouldn't as I promised that after the BBQ I was going to be good until WI as I'm off plan next weekend but then chicken and green salad should be OK. Anyway, I'm going on Wednesday. Day before WI. Hmm....xx

....but then I also really want to lose 3lbs to get to next mini goal before Bristol (don't think gonna lose more than 2lbs though)...

Hi! I love nandos! :D why not get the quarter chicken? Without the skin it's only 250 kcal xxx

That sounds like a good idea, I shall do that :). Thanks Lozza. Of course I'll probably want to cover it all in Nandos mayo....;)

One thing I'm getting confused with is when do you skip a pack because you've eaten? I generally have 3 packs if I'm having anything like a portion of chicken or something. When I had the BBQ, I ate loads so only had 2 packs but then felt a bit ill the day afterwards with no energy. So how "big" does a meal have to be to justify missing a pack? Anyone??

Oooh, Tesco Ultra Slim bar for brekkies. I like these bars....xx

Where is everyone today?? I am sitting on my bum again on Minis, boy do I need some sort of hobby. Bored of knitting, don't fancy my book, have no money to go out, can't be bothered to go for a walk, watching too much TV is bad. Boo is cleaning his car. La la la la la....In the old days I would have been cooking dinner...!!

I am naughty and had 2 bars today. I think I did that to avoid my strawberry shake for lunch. I seriously only have about 12 packs that aren't strawberry now :(. Massive bunch of arse. I also think I should stop drinking so much Coke zero as it's starting to make me feel a bit explodey. xx

Yes I think I'll stick to 3 packs as I don't want to feel as washed out as I did yesterday. Hmmmm, "popular auction site" eh? Can't think where you mean ;). I looked for some chocolate ones on there but everyone was selling horrid soups. Perhaps I shall get my strawberries on there too and get a bit of money towards a choc only order.

Hope the decorating's going OK? xx

Nah just sat on my butt :) must start again soon

Just found your diary ;)

I had 2 asda bars today... Hope it don't effect me in any negative way?
Wont do it again. Xx

Yumm.... Nando's :D
Might take a trip to nando's when mission is complete xx

Well I had one the other night that wasn't so bad but I just want to gag even thinking about them now. Don't know why - I love strawberry Nesquik!!!! I like the chocolate ones so much that I'd happily have one for lunch everyday (or a Tesco bar, yummo!).

Hey Muffy - you weren't really supposed to have 2 bars a day on Cambridge but not sure what the rules are re Exante/ASDA/Tesco bars? At the end of the day it's better to have 2 bars than a shake and a Mars bar! I don't think that it's realistically going to make that much difference - the calorie content is similar but the bars can sometimes have a touch more carbs in. Nandos can be a good option on the diet I reckon so long as you can stay away from the yummy spicy rice and sweetcorn...

Off to Court in a mo, had half a bar and now drinking my ONE Coke zero of the day...xx

Jubbly you cursed my strawberry shake this morning :p I had no issue with them but drinking mine made me think of how you didn't like them and then I could kind of see what you meant :D haha never mind, I just necked it as quick as poss.

I haven't tried any of these other bars people keep talking about...I'm really going off the chocolate-orange ones that exante do, but wouldn't buy the toffee ones outside of a bumper pack cos of the expense...so maybe I will investigate when I have finished my current lot.

Hope you're ok sweetie and had a good day in court xx

Helllooooo lovely!! Court was a nightmare and then found out my car is going to cost £750 to repair so it's not been a good day and it was seriously the first time I've actually considered going to the McD's across the road. I won't though.

It appears that I'm not finding the strawb ones as bad, just as you're finding them worse!! I bought one in for lunch and really tried to like it more and it wasn't as horrific as previously. Having said that, I've ordered 25 choccie shakes online and am selling my strawb ones on a "popular auction site" I reckon, or maybe keeping them for a rainy day...

I feel so tired on this diet. I'm sure it must be the diet anyway as I can't think of any other reason. I think I might see what protein I can find tonight.

I recommend the TESCOs bars, really I do. Sooo much more economical and I really could live with these as an occasional meal replacement when on maintenance. How are you getting on today?? xx
