Hey hey, so I'm on day 1 of Exante diet and had chocolate orange bar for breakfast and Strawberry shake for lunch. So far so good but If I'm honest I hope to learn to love them as I don't have a taste for them yet :-S

Reason for dieting - Want to feel healthy and comfortable at my sisters wedding in Florida July 2013. So I have in 10months to get to my target weight.Any advice welcome, let's get slim!!!

Start of day 1 weight= 14 stones 9 pounds

Things can only get better right?

Good luck for tomorrow,had the mushroom soup for lunch, hated it, hope I like the vegetable one. Or maybe shakes and bars instead o me x

Day 3 - wake up with a pounding headache, is that normal? So first thing I reach for is the coffee. I feel strong and determined today nothing can keep me down ? just a question can I have as much coffee as I want?

Hi Gillie653, I started off the same weight as you and only started 2 weeks ago, so would be good to have someone else to support and keep us both on track. Perfectly normal to have a headache and you might feel a bit colder than usual as well, all normal until ketosis kicks in. I'm not a coffee drinker, so can't answer your coffee qu im afraid, but im sure someone else will know :)
 
Thanks striped trousers, how are you getting on? Hope it becomes routine I don't think about food. Are you exercising? Coke zero allowed?

I'm happy! Had my 1st weigh in and was completely 100% for the whole week. I "only" lost 4lb this week but have lost inches so I'm happy!! (I'm a slow weight loser at the best of times.)

I feel motivated for this week now!

I love having two of my shakes a day with coffee! They taste incredible! (even, surprisingly, the banana and coffee. Haven't tried the strawberry as that sounds horrendous!!)
 
Congrats, 4 pounds I well enough to get you on your way, I would be happy with that, ?I bought the soups too only had one, def not sureI have never thought of having it with my coffee but might try vanilla for lunch, is it full pack?

Yup. I make the coffee with 250ml hot water, add the shake and then blend it with my hand blender! It tastes like frothy coffee! Some people have half a pack per coffee though, so do what you're happier with!
I made the mistake of getting the soups too. I tried one of each and just couldn't stomach the rest, so ended up getting more shakes. Best decision I made! I wouldn't have lasted the week if I'd tried to stick to the soups!
 
I totally agree, not finding the soups easy at all and getting on much better with shakes (minus the banana), so think I'm going to order more of the shakes, at least that way i'll stick to it. Feeling more hungry tonight as went for a run earlier, feels good to be able to go running now though as i have a bit more energy, but find it makes me hungry
 
Thanks had a try tonight and enjoyed it, although might be a little sweet for me for all the time. Think I'm going to try all the soups before I decide they are not for me, Thai chicken tomorrow for tea, wish me luck ?

Thanks it really does. At the moment I'm on two cups of coffee a day which is fine but was thinking on days I struggle I might need a coffee/ coke zero as well. I drink on average about 3 litres a day any ways.
