Skulldilocks Food diary

Its been a bad week, I had a night out and it all went down hill from
there. I upset a lot of people, was hungover and ill after and have
been down since. Its caused me to go from two days of no eating and
vomiting, to eating whatever I could get my hands on and avoiding fruit
like the plague. All this resulted in 1lb gain. I'd normally be
devastated but given the circumstances, I could've been much worse.
Normally when I have an anxiety relapse I binge like there's no
tomorrow, however even when I did "binge" I chose healthier options, or
just didn't eat at all. I nearly didnt go to weigh in due to the
embarrassment but managed to force myself as it was a taster and I'd
already cooked for my group. I'm glad I did as it has motivated me to
just get back on the wagon and realise that even if other parts of my
life are ****, this is one thing I can control if I put my mind to it.
No excuses for this week, no partying planned so should be good.
Breakfast:

  • Watermelon (superfree/superspeed)
  • Mullerlight raspberry and cranberry (free)
  • 2x tea with skimmed milk (HEX A) and sweetener
Morning snack:

  • 2x Alpen light bars (HEX B)
  • Banana (superfree)
Lunch:

  • Mugshot, tomato and herb (free)
  • Mullerlight peach and pineapple (free)
  • Apple (superfree/speed)
  • Grapes (superfree)
Dinner:

  • KFC style chicken using Smash (free/speed)
  • SW chips (free)
  • Salad (superfree/speed)
  • 2 tbps of low salt ketchup (1 syn)
Other:

  • 2 litres water
  • 2x Green tea (free)
  • Options hot choc (2 syns)
  • Low fat whipped cream (1 syn)
Body magic: Despite the rain, I'm going to do Day 3 of C25K on my lunch break, I need to get out of the office! 30 mins jogging

Sounds like partying can be a pretty destructive thing for you :( I'm sorry that your week sucked so badly, but you are right- considering the situation 1lb isnt bad! It'll be off next week. X

It was so destructive, its such a shame as I had been looking forward to it for ages. I wasn't completely to blame either but the way it has all been dealt with has left me looking like the main offender. I'm hoping it will blow over but until then I'm just going to lay low :( Definitely not going to be drinking heavily for a very very long time
 
Well I did it, despite the pouring rain and draining work day, I went for my 30 min jog on my lunch break! I feel so much better for it even if I did get soaked. I felt empowered and not worthless like I have all week. Plus it meant I was refreshed after a stressful morning in the office.
Never underestimate exercise kids!
 
I am mentally preparing myself for the huge gain Im going to have tomorrow. I've binged like you've never seen before. Just like my anxiety used to cause. Here's an example of how severe it got yesterday:
an upper crust cheese and ham baguette
2x pain au chocs
a double bacon cheeseburger
2x packets of Monster Munch
Kit kat chunky
Twix Extra
BK Chicken royale with chips and chilli cheese bites
:'(
I feel so sick and sad and headachey today. Its like I punish myself with it, I hate it. I've warned my consultant not to bring up anything at class tomorrow but hoping that (even though I said this last week) going to group will help me get out of this dark period and get back on track.
 
We all do it, but the hardest part is going back to class and accepting what happened. Hopefully once you're back it will help you get back on the wagon.
 
Very brave of you to face class after such a bad week. Well done for jogging- sounds like that was very constructive for you!
I'm sure whatever drunk drama went down will soon blow over, you cant hold a grudge against someone who was plastered and out of it! Most people probably dont even remember? X

Its not til later tonight. Currently taking bets on the gain. 3,4 or 5lbs?! Asda shopping has been delivered this afternoon and a meal plan has been written up as of tomorrow. Will try success express to some extent. But yeh, dreading tonight

Aww thank you :) It gave me the kick up the bum I needed to get back on it, never really saw how much I had actually lost.

Well I gained 4, as expected and so in 2 weeks I've gained 5. I plan to try and lose most of that next week, with the help of an SAS log, lots of Body magic and a semi success express food plan. Will be back posting on here more regularly to help me through. Have no social plans to effect me. I'm over this issue I cant be bothered to let it affect my weight anymore x

Subway salad consisting of:


  • Ham (free)
  • Turkey (Speed/free)
  • Lettuce (SF/S), Cucumber (SF/S) Red onion (SF/S) green peppers (SF/S) gherkins (SF/S) Jalapenos (SF/S) Carrot (SF/S)
  • Ranch dressing (2 syns)
Other:


  • 2x green tea with orange and lotus flower
  • 3 litres of water
  • 2 pints water
Body magic: 30 mins walking at lunch

Thank you :) I managed to have a great time at class (probably helped by the fact my OH gained 6lbs. Ongoing joke in ggroup about how he loses all the time without gaining then he reached tagret and this happened :p) Then the shopping arrived and I just cannot let this get me down anymore. The social things arent sorted out but everything else can be.
I also had some very promising news about more grown up things in life so I figured to stay positive! Just cscared of putting too much pressure on myself to lose a lot
 
Yay for being back on track!!!

It's easy to fall off but at least you're dusting yourself off and getting back to it.
I think we all forget it's a life long change not a short term fix; we'll fall of the wagon and get back on it but we'll get to our target.

You've done amazing so far and you'll continue to do so. Just think of how great you'll feel at Hellfest once you've reached your target. (I'm super jealous about the hellfest part!) =D
