    Hi all,

dunno if this is a daft question but I'd always thought tomatoes and onions were a no-no on induction.

Last night I was re-reading my atkins book for a bit of inspiration and I'm sure it said that onions and tomatoes were salad veg and therefore permitted on induction

    Which is right??

The new book seems to indicate they are OK, the original one said they were a no no. I think the new book is far less strict.

Yep exactly as Jim says.. the new book says they are allowed. As long as you count in the carbs then you'll be fine but they are much higher in carbs than greens. xx

Thanks I actually thought it was a fairly old book, It was given to me by someone who said they had had it ages lol

I do love my tomatoes and onions but I've been avoiding them. My loses havent been great though so I'll probably just save them for a special treat.
