Good morning good people,

We think our doggy has kennel cough :( It's not serious but she sounds awful - it's like a chesty cough thing, poor doggy.

Salad: Lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, cous cous (3), sweetcorn. Chicken.
Shape delight yogurt (0.5)

Evening chick!

Food sounds yummy today!! I had BNS tonight too, tasty isn't it!! I am going to try a chicken and BNS curry later in the week I think.

Glad you are feeling positive about the gain, a good week and you will be back on track no problems :)

I am setting my setting myself the goal to lose 14lbs before xmas as starting Friday there are exactly 14 weigh ins for me!! Hurrah! I love Christmas :)

Hope you have had a great day xx

Morning,

I did enjoy my BNS wedges last night - no-one else did though :D so it's a good job I did sweet potato, actual potato and BNS wedges!! I love pizza topped chicken, it tastes so naughty you wouldn't think you could eat it on a 'diet'.

On the downside, kiera-dog does have kennel cough, so she's on tablets and could be coughing for upto a month :( I also think i'm getting a cold... which is rubbish after avoiding colds in the office for about 3 months!!

I'm liking this getting up in the morning thing, it means I can have proper awesome brekkies (see below)...good times.

Food for today then:
Breakfast:
Bacon, Scrambed Eggs (2xeggs), mushrooms, tomatoes

Lunch:
McDonalds grilled chicken & bacon salad (1):
Lettuce (lots of), cherry tomatoes, chicken, bacon
Balsamic Vinegar dressing (1.5)

Dinner:
Spag Bol:
Extra lean mince, chopped tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, stock, spaghetti
Lettuce, cucumber, sweetcorn. Cheese (HEA)

Snacks:
Sainsburys Mini Chocolate chip oat biscuits (5)
Apple

Morning!

Doggy is much better already :D she's already not coughing so much so victory there!
And I can I just say, ew. Tea. I've never understood why people want to drink hot drinks. They just make me thirsty... kinda defeats the object. But i'm drinking plenty of water :D

Today is going to be a nice easy day at work, lots of things where all I have to do is sit and listen, don't even have to take notes. This is good.

Food times on my GREEN day:

Mushrooms, 2xEgg, Bread (HEB)

Lunch:

Shape Delight Yogurt (0.5)

Dinner:

Snacks:
2xAlpen light bars (HEB)
2x Jaffa Cake (5)
Shape Delight Yogurt (0.5)

Syns: 10

UPDATE:
There's not alot of green today is there? Meh, one day of not getting my 5 a day won't hurt ;)
It's so cold :winter_brr: i'm sat in the conservatory (admitedly it does get cold in here normally) in my hoodie, slippers and literally about 30cm away is the plug in radiator thingy (again i've only just got cold enough to resort to heating so it is getting warmer) but my point is brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I've had a terrible day/week at work, i'm just so annoyed with a member of my team and I would love to make a complaint about her (seeing as everyone else can't stand her either) but i've got nothing in particular to complain about. She just gets on my nerves all day, she's incompetent and rude but I can't prove it (plus i've got a track record with her - she used to be my manager and we had a few to-do's and it's common knowledge that I can't stand her). She's lazy and just sits and does nothing all day and anything she does do is wrong. Everyone knows it but we've got no proof! Plus she's the type of person who can talk a damn good talk (it's how she got the job in the first place).. it's just frustrating.

I also really wanted a hot chocolate but we have no options sachets and as if I can be arsed to walk to the co-op for one options sachet! Pffft.

Howdy dude!

How goes your Saturday? Totally agree with the heating in the morning being needed. We are trying to keep ours off as long as possible but its getting harder!!

Thanks for the link to that job, it looks great but we just can't risk a 6 month contract, with jobs how they are at the moment if I couldn't find anything afterwards if it did end, we would be in mega trouble as we basically live hand to mouth month to month!! Shame though as it looks just what I am looking for.

Sorry you are having a shitty time at work, I know how you feel when you don't get on with someone, it so hard. Especially if you are anything like me and find it hard to keep your mouth shut when people are out of order!

Anyhoo hope you have a great day. From yesterday it is exactly 14 weigh ins until the 23rd December so I am starting a new challenge of 1lb per week! A stone before Xmas would be awesome!

Hello!

How irritating, I spent about 20 minutes formulating a massive reply for this diary and thought it had worked. Obviously not, although if I post this one and the old reply suddenly pops up i'll be even more annoyed.

Anywhoose, sorry about the job Freshy, I found out on Friday that it's to cover a lady on adoption leave. Also I didn't check in at all during the weekend (I was on plan promise!) because a) I have a stonker of a cold so spent most of the weekend huddled under a blanket being fed lemsip and b) my computer was running updates FOR 2 DAYS! Things were conspiring against me.

I'm not going to post the missing days I assume they weren't interesting in terms of food because I really can't remember what I ate.

I weighed in at home (as I will from now on - I got a letter from SW on Friday saying sorry about the mess-up etc... they failed to get a C for 2 weeks - didn't bother me but I felt sorry for all the newbies - anywhoose, i'm just not happy with the way things were handled when my C left) and I lost 4lbs!!!

I've got a stupidly busy week this week. Wednesday/Thursday i'm in Croydon. No idea how i'm going to manage my food. Friday night i'm going out but hopefully I won't drink that much - either way syns will still be high. Then it's off to Nando's on Saturday... I forsee a gain in my future........

Food times for today then:

Breakfast:
Weetabix Minis (HEB), Splash of skimmed milk (HEA)
Scrambled eggs, bacon
I know, no SF! Slapped wrist.

Lunch:
McDonalds Grilled Chicken & Bacon Salad with Balsamic Dressing (2.5)
Apple fruit bag
Sainsburys Mango & Passionfruit dessert (7.5)

Dinner:
Spag bol:
EL Mince, tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, carrot, stock, spaghetti, salady bits, cheese (HEA)

Snacks:
Fruit bar thingy (3)
Natural somethingorother Lunchies thingy (5)

Hurrah you are back :bighug:

Well done for staying on the wagon whilst being poorly :( Hope you are feeling better now?

Also :party0011: on the 4lbs, brilliant!!

Are you off to Croyden for work, anything fun? You will be fine, you know the plan and you can only make the best choices with what is available to you. Can you take some SW friendly snacks with you maybe?

xx

Yeah, Croydon is work. I'm going to Twickenham on Wednesday to stay at my friends (who also works with me) and then Croydon in the morning for some amazingly interesting  training, then home on the train, I think I get home at half 8.

It should be alreete. I was planning on taking lots of low syn cereal bars e.g. alpan lights to stave off any hunger pangs and just hope for the best in terms of lunch options.

As long as i'm sensible it should be fine. And i'm still poorly, but able to function today. I took the day off sick and am hoping to go back to work tomorrow. It's crazy I moan about work all the time but I feel proper guilty if I have to take time off... Crazy times.

Oh, I changed my target for Christmas, made it a more realistic 1lb a week target... it's 11.5 because if I achieve that then it's 2 stone since July - not the biggest loss in the world but if I think about how much I go out and socialise and eat and drink and whatnot, it's actually pretty darn good. And that would make 3.5stone for the year. If I get the same next year that's 7 stone. Not bad going :D

Oh, I forgot to mention, in the first week of my sister's diet (she's not following anything specific just trying to be good) she lost 9lbs!!!

Hiya chick :wavey:

Glad to see you back! My OH is back from his course too, his was a waste of time, did you enjoy yours?

Hope you have a fab night out tonight xx

Morning!

Apologies for my absenteeism, I've barely had time to take to take a breath this weekend.

My course was actually quite good, we spent some time with out claims department and then had a training session on client money with all of the board there :S but it was good.

So to start where I left off, I went out Friday even though we sold the tickets for chase & status - we'd heard some really bad reports about tokyo so couldn't be bohered to try it, especially as it was so hot! Only went out for a few, was home and tucked up in bed for half 1.

Saturday - got up for the rugby and very glad that I did. Went into town, there was a vintage fair at the engine shed, twas v.good. Then to Nando's for lunch/early tea. Went home for a quick change and went out again. This time it was a proper night out, I think I was pretty much drunk by the time we went into town. Then just 'topped up' for the rest of the night. Was in bed at half 4.

Needless to say, Sunday didn't start until 2pm :D And we had a indian takeway for tea. I had tandoori chicken & a naan.

Damage is done now and I WI tonight to face upto it. Back on plan anywhoose.

Food times:
Breakfast:
Toast (HEB), Flora light (4), slice of ham

Lunch:
Jacket potato, cheese, chicken, bacon, light mayo (4)

Dinner:
Pizza

Snacks:
Walkers French Fries (5)
Kit kat (5.5)

Yeah, so obviously i'm not back on the diet today. I will be tomorrow I promise. I just think i'm feeling the after effects of my weekend today.

So it's clear to everyone that I was not on plan yesterday. I paid the price at WI in the form of a 6lb gain. I can't say i'm that shocked I deserved it. So after I WI last night and saw the 6lb gain I decided to order pizza to drown my sorrow in cheesy, greasyness.
Done that, and now am straight back on plan. I aint doing nuffin this week, except toby carvery with my sister at the weekend, but that's easy enough to deal with. So in my terms, it's time for a hardcore 100% week. Lets get this 6lb off in one week!! I've done it before.

Breakfast:
Weetabix Minis (HEB), Skimmed Milk (HEA)

Lunch:
Sweet & Sour Rice Times (FREE)

Dinner:
Pasta, Sainsburys Tinned Ratatouille (2), Cheese (HEA)

Snacks:
2x Apple Bags
2 x toffee fudge things (4)
Toast (HEB), Flora Light (2)Cucumber

Syns: 8

Today was super easy, I haven't really craved anything. I need to have my other HEB for today, so might have some toast and flora light for supper later. I love this diet :D

Hey chicky!

Booo to the lbs but :party0011: for the 100% week!! Go you!

I have put on 3lbs over the weekend so need to be good until Friday. I went to the nurse on Friday, I hadn't seen her for 8 weeks and I was the same weight which shows that I have been messing around for 2 months!!

Hope you have a good day at work. I am going 8-6 today as going some extra hours cleaning etc to make some pennies :(

Hi Sineadsss!! :wavey: I am sure Stacks won't mind me saying that its open to everyone to comment :) x

Howdy chickadee!!

How was your day? I ended up doing 7.45-6.30pm :argh: Going to do the same tomorrow if I can.

We are moving offices at the end of the week and no one wants to do the packing up. I clean there anyway for extra so I offered to do all the packing as extra hours if you know what I mean. We need the pennies so needs must!!

Yes lets get back on the wagon together. Like you always say to me the 6lbs is just jelly weight and will come off easier as you have already lost it. Also if you have a quiet week on the going out front you will be just fine.

xx
