I had been stalling big time for two weeks before my period. Up a pound, down a pound but always around the 155lb mark. Was I disillusioned? - you bet your a$$ I was!!

But I persevered and was rewarded this morning with a 5lb loss!!! This morning I saw 149.8. What a feeling! But better than the scales I am steadily adding clothes that no longer fit to the 'fat pile' destined for the charity shop. :D

What was causing my stall? Definitely hormones and so I won't be weighing anymore after ovulation. I seem to lose in the two weeks after TOTM, I now know this and so will content myself not to despair at the end of the cycle. I also am swimming 50 laps 5 times a week and last week my muscles were killing me - I have since read that healing muscles store water. I cut back on dairy - this past week I ate only one 170g total yogurt per weekday and no more than 500g natural yog/fromage frais per day at weekends.

So if you find yourself stalling, please just keep trucking and Dukan will work. The average is a 2lb per week loss but for most of us it isn't a steady week on week loss. Some sts and gains will in the end balance out with a good big whoosh another week. Celebrate the changes in your dress size and don't get hung up on the scales! Happy dukaning, amigos!:)Xx

Thanks for this, very timely as I had a disappointing weigh in this am, will heed your words though, onwards and downwards!!! Well done on the 5lb, that is awesome xxx

What ff yogurt do u buy? I am sooo confused! I bought 0.1fat. Is that ok?
