stephie 77 Diary

Brilliant keep it up x

Thanks YM.

Well i did 90 mins solid cardio in gym this morning and burnt 800 cals, im getting fitter as im having to work harder to get my heart rate up!! Then did an hour of kick boxing tonight..........but i have eaten loads today for some reason i have been starving and nothing was satisfying my hunger..........i hope i havnt buggered it up for tomorrow as i have the drs WI tomorrow.

I made a scrummy soup today from WW forum so simple and hardly any cals.

I roasted the veg first but u dont have too.

1 x butternut squash
2 x peppers (not green)
2 x average size onions
as much garlic as u want
mixed herbs
chilli to taste
2 x chicken or veg oxo

stick it in a pan, cover with stock cover till the veg softens and liqidise.....if u roast the veg 1st it gives it a richer flavour!!!

yummy!!!!

You are so right about doing it slowly. I remember complaining about losing 1lb the other day and now I have put on, I would give anything for a loss. Keep it up good luck for today

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan....the dr didnt weigh me!!!! I gotta wait till next Thursday!!! I starved myself all day today !!! Hahahahahaaaaaa. X

Rowan... i couldnt bloody beleive it especially as last time they made such a big thing about my BMI and IVF........ all he did was give us test results! I actually asked him to weigh me as i knew i was at least 7lb down (THATS a 1st!) and he said no as i have been referred to a different specialist and they will do that next week!!!!! hubby found it hilarious as i was ready to gnaw my legs off..........bloody men.......bloody drs.........yummy guilt free chocolate on the way home tho so i guess every cloud and all that!!!!

Have you got to be a certain BMI before they'll do IVF? Is it like under 25?
Might you not need it if you lose weight? (dont want to pry like!)
I got pregnant when I lost weight. I had a miscarriage the first time but the next time was pregnant again, first time again... had only tried once before when I was 15 stone and quite a bit younger, and I think the weight loss could have played a big factor in being successful. They reckon more 25bmi rather than say 21 bmi to be successful.
Good luck - its a great reason to be doing this, but gawd they could have weighed you!!! it wouldnt have cost them anything! xx

Its got to be below 29 but my problem is i have a lot of muscle because i work out so much so on a proper bmi machine that measures water, muscle and fat i have a bmi of 25, so healthy, the NHS do it the old fashioned way and go off my height/weight which is not accurate at all as i can weigh more than someone with no muscle just fat and unhealthy..... they could get IVF but i wouldnt......... we dont even know if we need IVF but the specialist said he wanted to prewarn me rather than drop it on me last minute. it was a very awkward convo last time as he only weighed me to check my weight as he said i looked a healthy BMI but turns out I need to lose 2 stone in weight .......weather its muscle or fat!!! bloody annoying but gotta be done.....!

That is annoying but suppose for them they have to have a basic cut off point somewhere. At least you'll have some weight in the bank as it were for carrying a baby - be warned, I put on 7 stone! wish I had watched what I was eating but I had a raging appetite and was eating for 50! Awww hope it all works out for you. I never thought I'd be a mam, but became one at 38 and wouldnt be without her (most days haha) xx

wel its given the motivation to do it healthily and slowly so thats gotta be a positive. My Little sis is pregnant with her 2nd now and she said the same abot eating however she informed me last night that she was 'so fat' and when i asked her weight, she ( at 6 months pregnant) weighs 4lb more than me and is also 2 inches taller so probably STILL looks slimmer!!!! LOL - sisters eh, gotta love em!!!

right, another bad weekend of food!!! however i did haul myself out onto my old running route yesterday and trotted out a 5km jog and back in the gym today to try and counteract before Wednesday!!!

Cant wait for Fri as i am going home for a whole week, but got WI Wed and specialist Thurs to get thru then i get to see my family. havnt seen my sister since about mid-Nov and my parents the 1st week in Dec and my nan for bloody ages!!! so its going to be a good week of catching up and easy on the food!!!

Right. I have had a chat with myself tonight as i really dont wanna set myself up for a fail...im gonna aim for 1lb a week and any more is a bonus....thats means in 6 months i will be 24lb lighter and considering i need to lose anoth 25lb from the last WI i think thats pretty damn good so by August, just in time for my hols in Sept, i WILL be lovely and svelt and in proportion.

weight in today - and i manitained kind of expected it tho as i have eaten enough to feed a small country this week...last work out tday fr 11 days as im going home but im taking the 'Shred' with me!!!

Maintaining is good, better than a gain. The whole pound a week till goal thing is a good idea too. Thatd be 52lbs lost in a year. Not bad at all. Enjoy seeing the family. I live 300 miles away from mine so any visit is brill :)

me too Loser - door to door its 323 miles......so when i do get the chance to go and visit i deffo go! i dont get to see them very often otherwise ad im very close to my parents and sis.
x

That must be so hard, I guess I am real lucky as most of immediate family live with 2 miles, that being said I have not seen my sister since Christmas! Staying the same and eating enough food for a small country, I would call that a result.

im lucky too with family being so close, well apart from my sister who is in Dubai but she is coming home for a week on monday yey. 1lb a week is a good idea, thats what i was aiming for before i got caught up in it and 2lbs disappointed me! I need a kick up the bum!!!

Cant WI tomorrow as im at my folks and their scales are rubbish!! God only knows why they wont bin them!

so, im gonna WI Sat am, when im home.

I seem to be havinga major wobble atm, tink its cos im away fromthe gym and just bored! got a month left of Garden Leave and i would like to just get motivated to shift the weight......
specialist reckons i need to lose another stone and we are back there in 8 weeks for our next appt......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i start each day with such good intentions and then it all goes wrong!!!

ok, rant over - cheeers!!! xxxxx
