Sweetners on ss plus

Hi, I have started the Cambridge diet almost two weeks ago. I have been taking sweetners in my tea(quite alot.) I was told that i was not allowed them by my cambridge counsellor but i dont know why? I didnt think they had anything in them. Maybe if someone could tell me the reason for this I would understand and not do this? Thanks

That's what I was told too! And had the from day 1, can't stand black coffee otherwise!
