Woo hoo I passed! It was really hard and there were times I thought I wouldn't last out but I got through it and passed so I am now a BLACK BELT!!!!!!

Ha ha that's true Jane! And I have to say, that picture was taken just after I'd taken my sparring kit off after half hour sparring following the other 4 hours of the grading!

Yes it was very hard. I am so glad it's over for 2 years!

Well people, I can certainly vouch for the hard work Taz put in today. She had already been at it for hours when we arrived and there was still plenty of time to go. The guy up front put them through their paces and there was no let up.

The first picture says it all but she soon recovered and found her smile!

At no point in time could I have ever done what Taz did today and she has my utmost respect for all the hard work and effort she has put in over the last (just under) 3 years - yes, that really is the timescale.

Taz - this is a very well deserved award - enjoy the moment x
