Ugh so around 3 hours into being back at my OHs and I feel myself slipping.
Almost had some chilli and mint potatoes from asda that would have been 84.5 syns!!!!:eek::eek:
Good thing I checked online before I cooked them up!!!
I feel so rude refusing food that my OH's parents have bought but there is no way I want to blow my diet.
I'm also trying to do it without telling them I'm on a diet as they get really funny about stuff like that.
But we've all packed and moved back now. Hopefully starting swimming on monday! NERVOUS.
I hate water as I nearly drowned as a kid. So I taught myself to swim. Not very well I might add.
Also one word. Swimwear
But it must be done!

It's hard isn't it when there are more than just u to think about, I still live at home and it hard work sometimes in more ways than one :)

You will be fine swimming just remember the reason your doing it and hold your head high missus, before u know it you will be feeling better in that cossie :) x

I am SO EXCITED!!!!! Just worked out the costs to have the wedding reception at the hotel we like and we can get everything we want UNDER OUR ORIGINAL BUDGET!!!!! :party0011: We're manageing to have welcome drinks, a wedding breakfast for 75 guests and canapes later on for 130 guests and the use of the honeymoon suite for Ben and I and the use of their table decorations/linnen etc all within budget! I've asked him to book us in officially and we want every room in the hotel as we have a lot of friends and family travelling fairly far, so we will have the whole hotel just for our reception!! It's going to look dead posh considering how little we're paying for it! So excited!!!! Definitely made my day better as I'm not feeling too well today :( got tummy ache and constantly feel sick :(xx

Just a quickie - managed to get a couple of swimming costumes - gutted because this is the first year ever that I won't be in a bikini

Cooking hm burgers and chips...can't wait

Gutted WI...STS

I'm sorry hunny :( but you will be in a bikini next year with the fab figure you're going to have after all your hard work!! :) xx

You'll be in one again soon, I know someone who shouldn't be in one and wears one - which i think is so much worse lol!
STS is fine, you've not gone up and that's the main thing - fresh week to make a loss :)

By this time next year all of us should be in bikinis
Just use it as another reminder of why you want to get to target.
I go swimming tomorrow. Haven't worn a swimming costume in public in a good few years.
Nervous as hell. In fact i'm planning to get up by 5:30am to leave for 6am to cycle for an hour to be at the swimming pool by 7am so i'm one of the first people in there, so not many people see me out of the water in my costume. But its a start.. I think.

That's great :) I'm glad that it's all going well for u. Has it been hard cutting out wheat and milk?

I'm going ok so far 100% days and showing a loss when I had a sneaky peek, into the weekend now tho which is danger period!!!! Lol x

Hi Jo!

It's not too bad but it does require some planning and research. I had to go into some health food shops and pay attention to labels. I have been having wheat free cereals or porridge with nut milks. Lunch has been oat cakes or spelt bread (though some wheat in in, apparently a distant cousin!) I haven't gone completely free just the main carbs such as cereals, bread but also no whites such as rice and pasta. Glad to hear your doing well and have a good week ahead!

Sounds like you've got to grips with it well then and I suppose it's like anything after a few weeks you will know what u can and can't have and will do it without thinking x

Hi everyone...been looking at old pics and thought I would post them to show my progress so far at nearly 5 stone loss.

xmas.JPGdec11.jpg
These first two are from December 2011 before my start with SW at 27stone3.5 in January.
july12.jpgjuly12_2.jpg
These two are from my hubbies 30th at 22stone7lbs.

:) They are really spurring me on and my Christmas pics will be so different this year :)

xx

Hope you have all had a good Friday and have wonderful plans for the weekend. As Donna has already mentioned we are also due some sunshine this weekend :) I do love the sunshine.

Been for physio today and she tortured me for an hour with some massaging, stretching and a deep ultrasound thing on my back! Asked her bout the swimming and she said no for the time being :( bit gutted tbh as I thought she would probabally say yes but I'm sure she knows more than I do so will do as she says! :( Been to docs as well and she's signed me off for another two weeks so for the time being its as u were!

So no dancing on tables swinging my knickers round my head again for me this weekend!!!!!

Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins
You'll just need to wait for the knocker swinging moments for when you're better. :D

I had a brilliant week...something to do with knicker swinging... Just not for weight loss... 3.5lb ON !!! whoops oh well aiming for at least 5 pound off this week :)...
Fab attitude hun. Sounds like you had fun getting that gain. It'll be gone again soon. :D
Update:

I started on Monday and with some adaptions (not planned just getting used to the rules and finding my way) it looks like I am down 2 pounds. I feel quite pleased about this as I have been struggling to lose weight for some months. I am following Bob's rules and some advice from a nutritionist and both seem to compliment each other. For me I am eliminating wheat and dairy milk as well.

How is everyone getting on?
Glad you found something that works for you. :D

Like you plans to be in and out of the pool before anyone else is there. I'll pass on the bikini no matter what size I am next year though. I've had so many ops I look like a bloomin patchwork. :D Don't want to scare people. :D

Great pics, you can see a difference especially your face, you look younger! :) well done

Purple patsy if people can deal with seeing me in a swimming costume today and they didn't die of a heart attack then I'm sure people can deal with anything :p If you want to do it, wear that bikini or costume. Whatever makes you most confident!
I did go for my swim today. Was up at 5:30.. AM.. :p We didn't cycle because my OH didn't know where he put the keys to the bike locks  But tomorrow we will either walk or cycle if he looks for the keys. But 2 hours swimming was enough to start with I think

Haha, it wasn't too bad getting up at that time. I feel knackered now but I feel good.
I'm not sure whether it was the swimming or the fact that the sun has finally reared its head.
Either way i'm hap, hap, happy today :D
Going to make some speed soup for tonight!
