The FlabFighters! - July Challenge

Well well well, I only lost 1lb, despite braving the Scan Bran for two days in a row and having under 10 syns a day, with 4 of my 7 days of this week having been Green. However, I read a quote in the new magazine a little while ago (and have forgotten it already :eek:) and it inspired me to stay upbeat - will add it in when I nip back downstairs.

I think my downfall was lack of vigorous body magic - the weeks I have had my best losses have been in June, when I took part in the 160km challenge, and most of my kms were done by jogging/running. Taking into account my late start to the challenge and the fact that I was away unexpectedly in the middle of the month, I calculated that I completed the 160km in over 16 days, so averaging 10km a day, which 8 of which I can do in half an hour on the Wii Fit, and 2 of which I can do picking my brother up from school. Will be getting back on track with my body magic ASAP so I can hopefully lose another 2.5lbs by next week and get my stone sticker!

Also just found out I'm going away again towards the end of the month :( Just for two nights, one day, and half a morning though, so I'm not too worried about going over syns as I can and will stay in control of what goes into my gob, even if I can't stay in control of what goes onto my plate!

I've only lost 1/2lb this week BUT it is that bloaty time of the month for me, so am hoping that may be a factor. My C is very happy with my progress and says that slow and steady wins the race....so here's to slow and steady.:bliss:

Just 1 pound for me this week! I'm a bit disappointed really but at least it's a pound off and not on!
 
Down just 0.5lb this week. I'll take it as it's still a loss and I don't want to get depressed about it. Onwards and downwards ;)

Is anyone else here think they're fighting water retension as well as fat due to not drinking enough and all this hot muggy weather? I only ask because at my WI yesterday, apart from 1 lady who lost 2lb everyone either lost 1/2lb or had a little gain. It just seemed surprising that in a group of 15, 14 had similar results.

Any thoughts?
 
am finding it surprisingly easy so far, day 3 today, i cant believe i can eat so much, and ive just found out that the market in my local town does syn free sausages and burgers so off to get some today! x

I'm an Eastenders fan myself, but I missed it last night because I was at SW :sigh:

I usually end up on Facebook, that keeps me away from the fridge for at least 5 minutes ;)
