This is the place for you if you're feeling a bit of an insomniac and fancy a natter with forum members who also can't sleep.

I anticipate I might be here later, as my afternoon nap today lasted two hours!

3.30 for me this morning grrrrr. Going to let the dog out and have a cuppa then maybe I'll drift off for a bit.

Great idea for a thread!! Just been woken by my daughter - 3yrs old - had a bad dream, bless her. Now will be awake an hour or so... Sometimes I wake up randomly at this time as well.

Not on Atkins but I'm very much awake! Struggled to get a proper nights sleep since Friday... Friday because I was out, Saturday I just couldn't sleep, last night I was up feeling ill and tonight I just can't sleep again... not good! xxx

I'm not on Atkins at the moment either... Just saw this in the 'current threads' bit. I sometimes quite like being awake at this time as it feels like 'me' time in my busy life! Could do with the sleep though...

I know what you mean..... me time vs sleep time! Always think its such a waste being SO wide awake & unable to crack on with anything!

I don't usually have trouble sleeping but I've been a bit stressed lately so I'm putting it down to that as I'm in my last year of uni, my dissertation is due in 2 weeks time and then its exams! I'd love a proper nights sleep. Don't know how people manage without a good nights sleep all the time! xxx

Wow, yes that will keep you awake & yr mind racing sounds like a very busy time for you! I usually have a couple of nights a week where I'm awake between the hours of 2 & 6am, problem is then I am so tired when the alarm goes off just after I've fallen asleep!

I don't dare come in here during the night, think it would make me worse. Was coughing until 2am so was here in spirit.
