Well had WI on wednesday and as expected i gained weight!!!!!!!:mad::(:mad:
2lb......:(:mad:

Oh well i will have a good weight loss next week have been 100% since..
So im not gonna beat myself up over it.:)

Losing it for good: at least it was still a lose and not a gain.
I went through a similar sort of thing like that a few weeks ago and even put on 1lb. even though I was 100%. The only thing different I did was to increase my water. Give it a try. Good luck next week and please don’t give up.


Laura lou. At least your 100% this week and I agree it’s not worth beating yourself up about, we all have our slip ups and just need to get back in the saddle and focus on the week ahead.


Well even though I went to france had 2 meals and am on ss+ this week plus TOTM
I amazed myself and lost 4.7 lb….yippee

I was dreading WI and convinced myself that I had put on because normally I only have to look at food and I gain weight.
but I did go for lots of long walks while I was away and drank 4 litres of water a day.

Good luck with WI and staying 100% I will be back on ss Saturday. I have to complete the week with ss+ being my 12th week.

It’s going to be a scorcher this weekend so I intend on going for walks to try and up my fitness.

me again forgot to add i lost

12.3 lb for the month of may

i only lost 8.7 lb for April

17.4 lb for march but being my start month i was expected to lose more

how have the rest have you done on a monthly basis?

Since l started CD on 3rd March l've lost:
March - 16lb
April - 15lb
May - 11lb

and 17 inches (chest 5", waist 5" & hips 7") so far!

I'm aiming to lose 12lb in June.

Thinklite- I know it's coming off but just not as fast as I had hoped. :confused:I am expecting a better loss this wednesday. Congratulations to you on completing 12 weeks SS.:happy096: I have been stopping and starting and I so could have been at my goal by now but nevermind am completely focussed now.

I've just booked two weeks to Morocco in August and want to be in complete maintainence mode by then and in a size 10 bikini.lol;)

Anyway its quite difficult to work out how much I have lost each month because of my constant falling of the wagon but here goes:

February- Lost 10lbs (only two weeks on diet):D
March- Gained 5lbs (Off diet and being a greedy git):break_diet:
April- Lost 8lbs (again on and off):sigh:
May- Target was 14lbs, so far have lost 9lbs but am going to have an additional WI on Sunday to get a full Month's reading.:scale:
June- Aiming for 12lbs-14lbs to bring me 1 stone away from goal- PLEASE GOD MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!

I'm off to Thorpe Park tomorrow for one of my mate's 25th bday so that should be fun and keep my mind away from food. Hope everyone else has a good weekend. Enjoy the sun xx
 
morning all.

you are all doing so well:). i'll have to check exactly how many inches I've lost i know I've lost 5.5 inches off my bust but can't remember off hand the rest.

well i had a terrible weekend, i had a meal that included a small amount of couscous and i checked yester and it knocked me out of ketosis checked again this morning and i'm still not in ketosis:cry:

so i am not expecting to lose anything this week but i know now don't touch couscous.

how did the weekend go for the rest of you?

Morning Guys,

Had a lovely weekend thanks. Went to Thorpe Park on Saturday and did so well but on Sunday I went to a BBQ and couldn't resist! I started with some chicken wings which wasn't too bad but then I had a gigantic burger with bun- big no no :cry: Now I have the worst upset stomach because I think my body just wasn't ready for that overload. Anyway serves me right and reminds me not to do that again.

My CDC has changed my WI to a Sunday now so hopefully I will have a few extra days to rectify any damage.

Don't be too upset about the ketosis- you can still lose weight when your not in it and I'm sure you'll be back there very soon- like me!!

morning all.

well it's now 3 days since i ate the couscous and only now i am starting to go back into ketosis. this morning showed traces of ketosis so god knows the damage it did.

losing it for good:BBQ's are so hard because you constantly have that smell around you..i know how you feel.

well i think dieting is definitely easier in the colder weather not so much temptation going on around us.

good luck to anyone who has WI today.

i know i'm dreading mine tomorrow.

but at least i am back to 100% ss

but i have a weeks holiday in 2 weeks time...oh dear.

Hi Thinklite,

I am still not back in Ketosis and it's getting me down. It takes about 30 seconds to get out of Ketosis but around 3/4 days for me to get back in it!:mad::mad::mad:

Oh well, I am flushing out with as much water as possible and hopefully tomorrow morning I will see signs of ketones!;)

Anyway I have signed up for a 5k race in September and yesterday started my training. Although I have always been overweight I have always gone to the gym and being on CD has been the longest amount of time I have gone without exercise. So I went for a run yesterday (only 25 mins) and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Maybe because I am carrying less weight now??:D:D

I am now not too worried if this bit of activity affects my losses because I have always said that I didn't want to be slim and flabby- so if it takes a bit longer but I am toned it will be worth it.:)

losing it for good. good luck with the run, i know what you mean about being knocked out of ketosis all too easily and taking 3/4 days to get back in.

it is now day 4 and i am still only showing traces on ketostix. despite being 100% ss, i am so fed up. i have WI tonight not expecting much lose if any but am dreading in case i have gained... i'll let you all know tomorrow.

Good luck for tonight. I am still not back in ketosis so it has taught me a really valuable lesson. My stomach is also making all these awful noises so I am hoping it is just burning off that last bit of carbs.lol

Drinking as much as possible again today- WI not until Sunday really hoping for a good loss 4/5lb would be great but we shall see.

Had WI yesterday and lost 4lb, not as much as expected as i gained last week, but hey still a loss!
Hope everyone is ok, Hopefully will be bk in ketosis saturday as i was nibbling yesterday..:-(..

morning all.

as i expected being knocked out of ketosis for so many days meant i didn't have a good week. i lost 0.5 lb but it could have been worse i could have gained..


good news is i am finally back in ketosis this morning...yippee.
so i am hoping to get 3lb+ next week that would mean i have lost 3 stone with only 1.5 stone to go.

losing it for good: hope you are back in ketosis this morning, good luck with the WI on Sunday.

Lauralou 85... 4lb is brilliant i will be over the moon if i lose that next week. well done.

good luck to everyone who are having a WI and perhaps next week we might all have a good result after all with the horrible weather there won't be any BBQ's etc to lead us astray..

Just 1lb loss this week :(, it's totm for me, so hopefully next week will be (a lot!) better

Lauralou- Well done- 4lbs is amazing. I told you you would lose last weeks gain and more. Keep up the good work.

Thinklite- As you said at least you didn't gain 0.5lb is still good. Here's to a better week this week.

As for me, I am not back in Ketosis yet and I really don't know why??? I had the BBQ bits on Sunday and have had a good week so I am not sure what's wrong. It's looking like I won't have the best loss on Sunday so I am hoping for better next week. I just want to get under 11stone- is it too much to ask???

Also, don't want to go into too much detail but I haven't been a toilet (if you catch my drift) for about 3 weeks- could this be affecting my losses?? I do take the fibre but nothing is happening.

Anyway hope you all have a good weekend and stay focussed- as soon as I socialise things go to pot so am not leaving my house for the next 72hrs.lol xxx
 
Only 1lb loss again this week- can you believe it!!:eek:

Well I can. I only just got back into ketosis yesterday so wasn't expecting a miracle:sigh:. Roll on next week:p.

well it seems to have been a bad week for most of us. i think the only one who did well was laura lou with a 4lb loss..well done.

disney paris . don't be disheartened by the 1lb loss as you said it was TOTM and i only lost 0.5 lb last week without TOTM.

losing it for good. at least it wasn't a gain and like me you wasn't in ketosis and you still lost double to what i did, as for the toilet problem i found i was only going once a week or so, i increased my water intake, it's still not fantastic but at least now i am every 3 or 4 days or so.

well hope fully this week we should all get better results.. stay strong and focus on the nice summer clothes we can buy and looking a lot better on the beach.

where's everybody gone?

had WI last night and lost 2.9 lb's not brilliant i know especially considering that i only lost 0.5 lb the week before after being knocked out of ketosis, but at least it was a lose and too be honest even though i have been 100% ss i didn't feel like i had lost any weight and because i have a thyroid problem it is very hard for me to lose weight so i am still happy with that.

I'm still here.

Well done Thinklite, a loss is a loss so 2.9lbs is fab. Look at the thread on here that shows you exactly what 1lb of fat looks like- it will make you feel alot better about your acheivements, trust me.

I have done really good this week and am hoping it will show on the scales on Sunday- will let you know how it goes.

weigh-in: 2lb loss for me this week (was really hoping it would be 3lb), l was a bit disappointed at first, l know l shouldn't have been as it's another 2lbs gone for good. My weight is now 160lbs, so at next weigh-in l should be in the 150s. :)
Anyway, l'm back to being in a positive & determined frame of mind - so onwards & upwards (or rather downwards - that's the only way those scales are heading LOL)
