But the fact of the matter is that the ladies group is after the mens group and we leave as they arrive. And each week the ladies are getting more and more attractive. And I put this down to their weightloss.

I always thought I was a deep person but at the end of the day it makes me realise how material we can be. Has anyone else found this or am I the only one?

I don't think youth should preclude a knowledge of the birds and bees - or more accurately shrubs and trees Dave.

How old are you BTW? :D

    Hehe good confession, Dave!

I'm having a similar problem. Everywhere I look are huge people (did I not notice before, when I was one?) and I keep thinking 'what you need is LL'. I'm worried about shallowness too. I'm turning into a diet nazi... ugly, no?

Well offence people but I really hate fat people who openly indulge in public. I feel like walking up to them and going "If you do it at home you can claim its the genes but scoffing a double big mac burger in public with cheese dribbling down your chin.......... do you wonder why people take the piss?"

No offence girls, since going to LL I understand that alot of people who are overweight need the psychological help but those overweight people who dont care and just embarass themselves, those are the ones who need to fall voer a stack of leaflets.

Also referring to the libido......... my gf has mentioned a noticiable upturn in the amount of begging and pleading hahahaa. No in all seriousness I have noticed the horn coming back to me. And just so you know it does look bigger since ive lost all the weight.

ok, got a deep suggestion that could make you appear less shallow....

could it be that as the ladies have lost weight their confidence has grown? could they be walking taller, smiling and laughing more and generally be more at ease in their own skin? Could that have drawn your attention perhaps more than ONLY how they look?

Ok I could be talking crap but you never know lol.

I noticed the same thing at my group (but I am a straight girl), I think that it is to do with being able to wear better clothes, and suddenly being 'visible' again. When I was fat, I was invisible, so what was the point in making an effort?

I'm sure that's true - I am making a bit more effort myself (given that I have NO clothes left at the moment). Unfortunately losing the weight doesn't stop me being 50 (curses) which also makes you invisible. Anyone got a cure for that? If so, count me in!!!

In fact I think you are right. last ngiht at weigh in (I lost 4 lbs) one of the pretty girls (who i thought was pretty before she started) actually smiled and talked to me. Beforehand she'd give an awkward grin and shy away. It might have something to do with the 3 stone she has lost given her confidence i dont know.
