Are you following extra easy? If so then always make sure 1/3 of your plate is filled with superfree foods...unfortunately peas and sweetcorn aren't superfree.

Also, where is your hex a? Did you use you full milk allowance for breakfast? V important that you have your a and b every day.

Most importantly, were you hungry? I only ask because steamed salmon and broccoli would probably only fill me up for 10 minutes :) I would have had plenty of carbs with it too.

I've nothing new to add except you definitely need to up your superfree. It's so confusing at the start as your plate can literally look like it's piled high but as long as you follow the main rules it's fine. I still struggle at times to get my head around it but it does work, you just have to look around this forum and that will definitely help you put your trust in the plan.

How many syns have you totalled so far?

I don't think I could survive on such a small amount of food as that!!

Thanks all for your feedback. Yes the cereal and milk met the hex a and b options. To be honest I was really full and I have a big appetite! I was generous with the veg servings and the chicken and salmon were good size pieces. I didn't need the banana or mini magnum really. I had the banana at 4pm the usual habit time for biscuits or cake. I don't think anyone is really hungry to eat chocolate it's normally something you fancy.

If I didn't have the peas and corn and had super free veg this would have been a red day? I would then needed to have one more hex a and b?

I surprised myself that's why I managed to stick to it.

Thanks again.

Don't underestimate peas. According to SW they are high in fibre, particularly nutritious and are a super speed food. In the book they have the symbols (H,SS,F). They are also a very good protein source. I bung a handful in just about everything. They rather handily taste great in just about everything too lol. Sweet corn is listed as HH so is particularly nutritious but doesn't have the same fibre etc.

I agree and i often add peas or sweetcorn as an extra to most meals - but while they are super speed (well peas) they aren't superfree, so don't count as 1/3 of your superfree on EE!

Bacl to the OP - i cannot add more to what the other posters have said but if you are following EE then you do need more superfree fruit / veg with each meal x
