We ceremoniously ate our first courgette the other night .... raw - just cut it in half lengthways and ate it ... was good too

Can't keep up with getting through all the salad leaves and family are beginning to run and hide when they see me approaching with more for them

I've been meaning to plant more leaves but haven't got round to it! xx

lol It's so not the weather for salads but I bet it is great eating your own home grown ones. Very satisfying. So glad you are not feeding the slugs!

Courgettes are really nice raw - it's easy to forget they are a type of cucumber.

Here's to loads more home grown food hehe!
