Top 3 books?

Restart 3/9/2013
Well I was going to post a thread asking for your favourite book of all time, but then realised I really couldnt pick just one favourite! So decided to go for top 3 instead...
In no particular order...

Rachels Holiday by Marian Keyes - I just love it and have re-read it about 30 times

Jemima J by Jane Green - Ok slightly cheesey choice maybe but I do love it and re-read it loads too

Kiss the Girls by James Patterson - Completely different to my other two choices but I really loved this book. Havent read it for several years but have owned about 6 copies in the last 10 years!

So what are yours?

1984 by George Orwell. Stunning political examination, suffused with a painful human story.

Night Watch by Terry Pratchett. Oh so dark, funny and intelligent.

His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. Intricate tapestry of humour, unbearable sadness and beauty.

The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. Simply perfect.

(Sorry, couldn't stop at three!)

mine have to be

1)Pyramids by Terry Pratchett
2)American Gods by Neil Gaiman
3)The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks (ok it counts as 3 books but i just couldnt put them down when i first got them and theyre just fantastic)

Hi everyone, Im new but seeing as I love books thought I would share my top three..

Empire of the Sun, JG ballard
Brave New World, Aldous Huxley
Brighton Rock, Graham Greene

I love reading, so just naming my favourite authors as cannot ick

the early patricia cornwells
martina cole
Jilliane hoffman

It's difficult to limit myself to just three :) but here goes:

A Prayer for Owen Meany - John Irving
The Poisonwood Bible - Barbara Kingsolver
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger

Lit student so this is really hard to decide.

Maybe

1) I Capture the Castle - Dodie Smith.
2) Dracula - Bram Stoker.
3) Wintersmith - Terry Pratchett.

I'm sure I'll change my mind any minute, though.

Apart from Harry Potter, these are the books that once i started reading i couldn't stop and i've read them over and over agian:

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night -Time (Mark Haddon)
The Time Traveler's wife (Audery Niffenegger)
A Thousand Splendid Suns (Khaled Hosseini)
The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini)

I couldnt decide which one of Khaled Hosseini's books i liked best.

I also like the books by Freyna North and Melissa Nathan and i'm hoping to read all the Twilight books before the next movie is released.

xx
