weight loss v vital statistic measurements

    I dont know if this will help anyone else. Last time I did SW I lost 4 stone and this equated to 35 inches overall.

    So far this time Ive lost 1stone 11 lb and 24 inches.

    It feels great. I measured myself at the start and then every other month. When youre feeling down about how slow it goes sometimes, the fact that your weight loss is measured in inches as well is a real boost.

    I measure:
    Bust
    Waist
    Stomach - as mine is VERY different to my waist!
    Hips
    Top of Right thigh
    Bottom of Right thigh
    Calf
    Top of Right Arm.

    So if you need a few more inches you could also measure the left side too.

    The physical difference makes you feel good when its hard to visualise 1 or 2 lb.

    I only measured my bust , waist and hips, but remeasure every few weeks and it's good to see how many inches have vanished.
    It's certainly a good idea to measure yourself at the start as the inch losses are motivational:)

    I too am a fan of doing this and advise everyone to do the same. It's a great motivator if you're feeling down :)

    I've not lost a great deal in weight over the last month, but I have been shedding inches since I started exercising, my wardrobe has almost doubled in size!
