What is everyone eating today?

If can fathom my lamb mince dilemma, i'll be having lamb a kebab in pitta with salad. As for breakfast and lunch, i havent got a clue as im still in bed

Just tried some pitta from Asda this week. I had not eaten pitta for years, and it's really nice. I toasted it and used it with a dip of cottage cheese and veggies, along with some crudites.

Hi Annie,

I find I am not snacking all that much, sometimes have some fruit but I genuinely feel satisfied between meals....very bizarre!! In the evening I have a choc fix - normally a 5syn bar or a couple of marshmallow teacakes that are 1,5/2each.

I make my own sweet chilli chicken and I fry onion, mushrooms, chicken, red pepper together in fry light, add soy sauce and garlic plus chilli flakes, when its all cooked I add some runny honey (synned) and serve :) yum yum yum - one of my faves :)

I might try this tonight. I was going to have fish, but I'll get the chicken out of the freezer. I've got some broccoli I could have with it, or maybe some carrots or something. I've got some local honey from the farmers' market that has been sitting in my cupboard since before I started SW, 2.5 syns for 1 level tbsp.

Have u tried roasted carrots and roasted brocolli Annie? They are really good, chop up and spray with frylight sprinkle the chilli onto them too :) and season....the carrots take longer than the brocolli but the brocolli has a really nutty flavour when roasted....Rachel Ray fave :)

I've had roasted carrot, but never roasted broccoli, so I'll try this. I don't use chilli flakes, but I have some fresh mild chilli in the fridge (I'm a real wimp when it comes to anything hot). Thanks for the suggestion.

Claire

what is the Weetabix crunchy bran like? I find that a lot of things I eat on SW EE are soft and mushy, and I really miss having something crunchy to eat. I've tried the Oat Crisp healthy B, which are OK, but a bit dry. Cruncy bran sounds good - does it have a nice crunch and good flavour?
