Where should I eat out?

S: 11st4lb C: 10st1lb G: 8st8lb Loss: 1st3lb(10.76%)
I'm going out for dinner for a friend's birthday on Monday. My weigh-in is on Tuesday and because I didn't lose anything last week I REALLY can't mess this week by eating something wrong at the meal.
I can choose where we go to eat, so can someone recommend something I can eat for free?
She wants to go somewhere different so it wont be a chain restaurant, but if its italian, chinese, indian, mexian etc., what is the best option that is likely to be on the menu?

Thanks to anyone who has suggestions! x

indian, rice tends to have oil in it even tho its meant to be steamed and mexican also has high syns too! i would say italian, go for lots of salad as a starter so you have plenty of superfree foods! then maybe an arrabiata pasta, italian tends to have extra virgin olive oil so go for a green day and save your HEX's for cheese and olive oil!! i tend to go syn free on these days!! no matter how careful we'd like to think we are its sooo easy and only human to undervalue syns specially when eating out!! and if i have a real piggout then i just stay syn free for two days!!

but most importantly u need to remember you are allowed to go out and enjoy!! slimming world should fit around your life not vice versa!!

I'd just go to a traditional pub and have a lovely steak, potatoes (new or baked) and loads of veg. Tell them you have a dairy intolerance so no butter.

at an italian you could go for an arribiatta pasta. it would have oil in it, but you could use some for your HeB and syn some, apart from the oil and a bit of sugar in the sauce (only a couple of teaspoons for the whole vat, so only about 0.5 syns per bowl) it would be free!
