"Will my crash diet kill me?"

Never gonna leave my house again :(

:hug99: They have an agenda and have obviously heavily edited to add weight (excuse pun) to their viewpoint - ffs CD IS NOT as crash diet . It is a nutritional sound meal replacement plan!!

You've done really well and have NOTHING to be embarassed about

Re: Excercise - I was always told not to START any NEW exercise for the first two weeks but could keep up any existing routines. Just listen to my body!!

Oh, and for the record - that Doc is a sanctimoniuos b!tch. IMHO

xxxx

I really don't think anyone was 'slagging off' (as you put it) please take a chill pill!!!!

ha ha ha ha ok! pill taken, with water (wouldnt want too ruin diet)

:)

Nicola honey I think you have come across brilliantly my love.
This must be a really tough time for you but please don't worry, before you know it you'll be the only person who remembers the show and in any case you should feel proud of how you portrayed yourself honestly and with integrity.
Well done you

Heartfelt apologies
I was just voicing how I'd feel if it was her talking to me in that manner.
I never meant to cause offence to anyone.

Can we move on now please

I'm still in shock they're comparing CD to the other diets!!

you just looked fab then Nicola xx

OMG I've only just caught the last few mins of this programme and it's already pissed me off beyond believe, for starters I hardly think CD is a crash diet, it's done properly and supervised!! Argh these programmes make me mad!!!

Yes it's a fast diet but I wish people who don't really understand the biology of metabolism and ketogenic diets would keep their opinions to themselves. Cabbage soup and CD cannot be compared side by side.

And what's this nonsense about not exercising on SS? Load of rubbish, exercise on SS has done nothing but good for me in the past!! Sorry rant over!!

Well done Hun!!!! I really don't think anyone meant to be offensive:)

Wow didn't the girl doing the cabbage soup diet have massive boobs! Hats off to her though because I thought she looked really sexy.....it just goes to show that us 'bigger girls' can still look and feel sexy!!!

I'm so angry

You can't compare those average losses as we all know the first weeks loss isn't a true loss so 2 weeks average is not the same as 6 weeks average!!! Grrrrrr

Hi Nicola, I've only just caught the very end of that programme amd you came across well!!

I'm curious to know why CD head office made you go onto 1200 cos of your exercising. Hope you don't mind me asking but I'm really active and exercise a lot (except at the mo I'm laid up with a torn calf muscle). I'm happy exercising on SS, my CDC has no complaints about it either.

I wish I'd caught the rest of the programme.

sorry girls I went off a bit there eh???

SORRY!

You i thought that, 2 weeks 6 weeks etc

Girl looked AMAZING in corset, flipping sexy

nicola i think u should be very proud of urself. not only did u do very well on the diet, but u gave an honest interpretation of ur experience. u have my respect and i imagine everyone here feels the same.
a few comments on the programme annoyed me ' cambridge 'CLAIM' their products are balanced with the right nutritional vitamin balance' im sure the producers could have read the packaging and employed someone to comfirm this FACT.
'Cambridge do not give estimated weight loss averages' NOT true, cambridge estimate a loss of 14lbs per month on average.
they need to invest in some decent researchers imho.
as for the ' if u need to pass wind dont do it until u have been to the toilet' oh if only i ever had that problem. lol
but seriously nicola, hold ur head up high girl, u have everything to be proud of. ur a brave strong determined woman.

I think it was ridiculous that they compared CD to the other diets, CD'ers follow a careful, clinical plan. We understand ketosis and glycogen stores and dehydration levels etc etc. I am now going to have to re-explain myself to so many people. What about the fact that we use ketostix and need to inform our doctors and all the other 'safe, responsible' things you have to do on CD.

Aside from that, well done! I don't think they portrayed YOU badly, just showed the ups and downs anybody goes through when dieting. What weight plan are you doing now? Are you just doing kcals and exercise?

Eeek not sure I can bear to watch it the last 5 mins made me mad as hell lol. I think I'll just stick with what I'm doing as it's working just fine!!

Just waiting for the numpties at work who've seen it to blame my torn calf muscle on the diet not the fact that I completely over did it!
