So, it's that time of the year again! The days are getting darker and it's getting colder. It also means the return of the winter knee high boots...

I adore knee night boots for winter but it's so depressing to try on all the lovely boots and find they never fit round my calves. Please can anyone advise on where I can find nice knee high boots for a larger calf.

    Thanks in advance :)

I've never found a pair to fit, especially as I'm only a size 3 :-(

I struggle too. Until I found out about Duo Boots about 7 years ago. I bought a pair for £90 then that are still going strong! I've had the heels replaced about 5 times since but they are fab.

The prices have gone up quite a bit but they are amazing. Ever year I say I'm going to treat myself again but never quite do :)

The website is DUO | Women's Boots | Ladies Shoes | Wide and Narrow Calf Boots and Fitted Shoes

Also Buckles and Bows but I've never used them as they still weren't large enough for me. Their website is down at the moment though. Buckles and Bows leading experts in wide calf boots and slim calf boots probably the best calf fitting boots in the world

Good luck - there is nothing more amazing than a good pair of knee high boots :)

Thanks ladies, I will try these :D

I bought a lovely pair from Evans last year but they have't lasted long and ready for throwing to be honest.

Although the duo boots aren't cheap they really do last! Mine have a small kitten heel and even with my obesity they have lasted well. Granted I haven't been able to wear them recently due to my weight gain.

I looked at the website last night and have fallen in love with a pair. Now need to save up my pennies for the £150 price tag!

Duo aren't cheap but are very good quality.

I got a pair from Evans last year and was impressed to get extra heel caps. They still look lovely but I didnt wear them much so not surprised.

I find that the XX Wide fit boots in Next are FABULOUS! and not horrible overpriced like the specialist online places.

    Here is an example.

Buy Women's Boots X Wide from the Next UK online shop

Oh and the bonus is you can go to a large Next and they should have them in stock, so you could check they fit okay before parting with cash!!!

Some of these are gorgeous! But I bet they still wouldn't fit my HUGE legs! LOL

I find the next boots are wider on the calf. Good luck! x
