    Confused me too as an ex red/greener! But yes it's all down to the 1/3 superfree rule - this is what cuts your portions of the other stuff enabling you to eat both in a meal together, I love it! Far easier, especially if eating out.

    Have you tried couscous porridge? could do it with bulgar wheat too probably :) I like my porridge oats soaked overnight in yogurt, they swell up and you can eat cold or warm up in microwave - saves a hea!

Otherwise you are in effect taking in a third more calories (yes I know we don't calorie count but the point of the 1/3 sf rule is to naturally reduce calories taken in without having to count).     The cold meat and pickles kind of thing is what we do a picky tea on Xmas day, easily swable, Boxing day tea is always left over turkey, with chips and branston pickle, again totally fine, so it's really just the pudding and mince pies that I need to think about. and the booze lol

    EE and red - greens don't work for me, too much emphasis on carby crap that my body cannot seem to process easily. I always feel hungry on greens too.
