    Tassimo Milk - HEA?

I think these are called "creamer" t discs. They add sugar to them so at least the calories from the sugar needs to be syned. According to the SW website: Product Extra Easy Original Green T-Discs Cadbury Hot Chocolate with Creamer , each 6 6 6 T-Discs Carte Noire Cappuccino , each 3...

    Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Hi. Nearly but not quite - according to their website a tall skimmed latte without syrup (so ALL the calories are from the milk as there are no calories in coffee) is 102 calories so that's not quite a full HxA (which would be 120 calories). So 40 calories are the syrup hence it's 2 syns plus...

    fat free brownies

Thanks! I make that approximately 69.5 syns in total, which is 4-4.5 syns per brownie. I think it's worth an experiment as people give rave reviews. I might substitute the sugar with Silver Spoon Half Spoon mix as it should only need half the amount and bring the count down to around 3 syns each.

    fat free brownies

I found this american recipe for "fat free" brownies using fat free yoghurt instead of butter. I'm tempted... But Can anyone help me work out what the syn value would be? The recipe is here: No Pudge Brownie Clone Recipe - Food.com and contains: 1 cup sugar (201g or 7oz) 3/4 cup flour (96g...

Green Days Losing weight on Green Days

It's fine to just do green days. About 5 years ago I lost 6 stone on the green/red plan and I was doing 90% green as I'm not a big meat fan and I love my cheese and carbs. I lose less on EE and find it more frustrating as I miss having both cheese and milk. I think it's very dependent on your...

Do i still have to eat my healthy extras if i went over 15 syns?

I believe that strictly speaking the plan would say that YES, you should still have your healthy extras, properly count up what syns you've had (because it's too easy to think "I've already had blown my 15 syns so what does it matter?") and count the day as a flexi syn day. Don't - just don't...

There isn't enough milk in a medio mocha to use up 2 health extras - otherwise you could on a red or green day as you get 2 hea on these days.

Whats your new SW food discovery??

Jell-O sugar free pudding mixes. Bought a job lot very, very cheap on eBay (Jell-O Butterscotch Sugar Free Pudding & Pie Filling 1 Oz (28g) [24 Box] | eBay) and it's only 1 or 1.5 syns per portion if you use part of your milk allowance to make it up - and delicious! Much nicer than Angel Delight.

What if I have less than 5 syns a day?

When I wasn't losing I tried having no syns - it didn't make me lose any more weight! I think the idea is that 5 syns = 100 calories, and since that is so small they are going to have almost no effect on your weight, but if you don't have them you might feel you are denied treats and that's...

    Tesco Chewee Bars?

Oh, I'm sorry, I'm confusing myself. I thought they were Tesco own brand. These are the ones I meant: Ocado: Harvest Chewee Cereal Bar with Milk Chocolate (Product Information) Are they a healthy extra? They only have 0.8g of fibre in them. They are delicious so would love them to be!

Wholemeal bread question- can we deduct 6 syns from wholemeal bagels/pitta?

I do this with weightwatchers bagels. They are 154 calories per 70g bagel but each one has 4.8g of fibre in - that works out as 4.1g fibre per 60g so over the 3g per 60g portion. I either eat only 3/4 of the bagel or do HEb+2 syns. It's never affected my weight loss and you feel a lot fuller on...

    Tesco Chewee Bars?

Hello all. I read on another thread that Tesco Chewee cereal bars are now a healthy extra. I can't see them listed in my 2013 free foods book. I wonder if the poster was confused with Special K Chewy Bars? I'm not a group member so I don't have access to the website to check - are they a...

please help - need to stay on plan but we've no kitchen

Hi guys, thanks for the ideas. We don't have much room in our tiny house so finding space for a new little kitchen could be tricky. I could maybe use the second bedroom if I cleared it out a bit and have a slow cooker on the desk in there. I'd be a bit worried about fire risk for camp stoves...

please help - need to stay on plan but we've no kitchen

Dear all I need your help with on-plan evening meal ideas that don't involve much use of the kitchen. We've had an infestation of grain mites for the past month and nothing is killing them - every time we clean them out, they come back the next day! We've had to cover the whole place with a...

    Extra Easy: Costa coffee

You and me both... I don't like coffee without milk so Americanos... although free... are not for me. Anything with skimmed milk in you can take 6 syns off and count as a HEa. That works out as roughly a medium skimmed latte or large skimmed cappa. Add 5 syns for a medium skinny mocha latte...

    Macaroni Cheese

Made this tonight and I thought it would be a bit wet after I poured over the sauce, but I left it in the oven for ten mins more than it said in the mag and that worked okay. I used greek yogurt - don't know if that made a difference? It looked a bit spongy/curdled but tasted good!

    Cheese Sauce

You can make a cheese sauce with skimmed milk, cheese and a tablespoon of cornflour. Just mix the cornflour with a little milk first to dissolve it, then mix a HEa of cheese with about 200ml of milk and microwave. You'll need to keep taking it out and giving it a stir and the cheese will take a...

Puddings Easy Bread and Butter Pudding with WW bagels

I just made up a microwave bread and butter pudding and it was lush, just like the real thing. Green Day Cheese scones. Free on green.

Made these a couple of nights ago but thought they were pretty rank to be honest! They looked the part but I could definitely taste the cottage cheese still, even though I blended it to within an inch of its life, and I really don't like cottage cheese! Much prefer the pitta pasty option.

    A moan about tasters!

Personally, I really hate taster meetings. They take time away from the interesting parts of the group discussion, I'm faced with eating things that (1) I don't what's in them (I'm allergic to eggs) and (2) I don't know what conditions they were made in (no offence - I'm hardly Mrs Hygiene - but...

    crispy chicken made with smash!!!!!

Had this today and it was good - though I paid too much attention to people under-seasoning and over-seasoned! I did think it used an awful lot of smash though, probably at least one whole portion (if you were using it for mash) to cover two chicken breasts. I suspect that means it should be...
