I know Jim.... can't begin to imagine. xx

My thoughts are with little baby Florrie x

This is what my friend has updated....

I apologise for using Facebook to give such news but we can't think of a better way to update everyone. Florie was at home this morning not herself with poor breathing and bad colour .. And had not fed well since yesterday. She stopped breathing as we were leaving home to take her to hospital so we took her to the nearest doctors surgery where every single doctor worked on her for an hour before an air ambulance took us to James cook hospital. To cut a very long story short they got her stable after nine hours... There is seemingly a metabolic blood problem with Florie which caused very acidic blood which has caused multiple organ strain. We are now being transferred to Newcastle specialist unit where we will be for a while to monitor her. There is no known treatment for this disorder so we are praying this is not her diagnosis and there is no damage to her organs. Only time will tell now. We are told she is extremely critical and we need to be prepared for any outcome. As you can imagine sam and I are just in shock and pain... But there is hope and we are holding onto that with both hands. This does not feel like our story.. We shouldn't be here. Messages which have come through are encouraging thank you. Please don't call. We will update Facebook as and when we can. Thanks for prayers... Please keep praying x

Channeling positive energy from Germany for baby and family...

An update from her Daddy.... sorry to keep talking about it, just feel better posting about it somewhere. x

Folks, update on Florence. At 10.30am ish she stopped breathing and her heart stopped. It has taken the full day to get her breathing and heart stabilised and she still needs machine assistance. There have been dozens of consultants with us all day including a heart specialist and childrens doctor. She has had a blood transfusion. We are being transferred from James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough to The Great North Children's Hospital who are better equipped to deal with the kind of "multi-system failure" that Florrie has suffered. Please continue to pray. It seems they are having difficulties transferring her support machines to mobile machines for the transfer. It also seems that this stabilising business is just the start of her care. Please lift up your prayers. She is in the Lords hands.

Sleeping with the angels Baby Florie.... I awoke to this terribly sad news this morning, just exactly one week from arriving in this world. x

Florie died this morning. A very strong little thing just had no fight left. We are on our way home now to tell the girls and let the news sink in. We were with her all the time and she was at peace. Thank you so much for your love and support. I think this is just the start of a journey... Praise god for a beautiful perfect baby that we got to enjoy for a short while... Now in better care with her maker!
