9 week plank, squat, crunches challenge

Day 4

Plank 43 seconds - up by 6 seconds.:)

Squats - rest day cos that's what the guide chart says

3 x 10 normal, 3 x 10 crunch twist.
That's a good plank improvement !
Whenever I have the classes in the gym I never ever ever seem to improve !!
I am hoping that I can see such an improvement :)
 
Ok I give in and I'll join this challenge tomorrow, don't all be jealous though when I put you all to shame with a 6 second plank! :D I need to shift my butt and do some exercise so this can kick start me in xx

Start out slowly Katie, and it will build up :)
The main thing about the plank, is to try and keep your bum as low as you can get it. :)

3x10 regular crunch, 3x10 bicycle crunch

After a 45 min swim today I managed ..


55 sec plank
69 crunches
& 65 squats

I'm totally wiped again this evening! Been 100% ts too! Woo hoo! :)

Day 4

Plank - 41 secs (a dis-provement of 3 seconds!)
Crunches - 20 regular; 20 hill reach; 20 vertical
Squats - 60 - left it out of my weights segment as my hip is giving me a bit of bother so just did regular squats, thinking I may well start the squat challenge as having the weights on my shoulders isn't working....
 
Day 2 for me
55 squats
12 lady push ups
10 crunches
10 reverse crunche
10 left oblique crunches
10 right oblique crunches
10 full sit ups

I took screen shots of my planks time but its only saved the last one :confused: and I can't really remember what they were properly. Front plank was about 35secs. Right plank was about 28 secs. And left plank was 16secs, but thats my sore shoulder :)
Off to the gym now for some speed walking :)

Edit: no speed walking, as it was snowing :(

The plank has improved but I get an awful pain in the top of my head when I've done the crunches, hope that stops soon!

Well done honey. Nit sure about pain in head. Just make sure u have space between ur chin and chest. Imagine ur holding an orange under ur chin. Never have chin on chest. U should also press ur tongue to the roof of ur mouth. It can relieve tension in head and neck. Try that and see if it makes any difference :) x
