Allie's diary. The life long battle!

    I've lost count of how many times I've successfully dieted (and then successfully undone it all!!).

    But I'm not dwelling on it anymore.

    I'm back on it because I almost reached my heaviest weight (yet again) and a holiday is looming. A holiday that I am dreading because of my weight.

    Sadly I can't lose 5stone by the 20thof September. But I have given myself 7weeks to lose 2 stone 2 lbs.

    Week 1 I lost 10lb; and this morning I got on the scales and I'd lost another 5lbs!!!!! Yippee!! That was just the boost I needed to keep me on the straight and narrow for the weekend.

    I may still be a heifer on holiday. But I'll definitely be a happier one :flirt2: Just need to purchase some fake tan in preparation........

    I got weighed yesterday and that's another 3.5 lbs off!! :innocent0002: I'm so pleased because Im still on target for my holiday.

    However I soon lost my Angel status because yesterday evening I invited the girls round and caved and joined in with the crisps and dip......:break_diet:(god they tasted good)!

    So no ketosis today although I'm back on it. Will be 100%for the rest of the week though.

    Well done on the loss so far Allie.

    No more crisps till holiday now & you will lose a lot more by then. Good luck x

    I struggled yesterday too. Breaking diet is never a good idea. So will try to be 100% today.
    I can't afford mess about. Less than 4 weeks to go xxxxxx

    Mine is in 4 weeks & 1 day so going full pelt at it. As you say no time for mucking about now x

    Absolutely Susie! I'm back on it now, was 100% yesterday and was back in ketosis this morning. Holiday is a BIG incentive.

    I was feeling a bit nibbley yesterday evening (boredom), so went upstairs and did a fake tan to distract myself. So I'm a slightly better colour (even though I smell a bit like an old dog biscuit!)

    Smelling like à dog biscuit is better than snarfing a packet of hobnobs! I think I'd look like David Dickinson in no time if that was my distraction technique!:D

    Hi Susie! My day hasn't been bad thank you. I've been at work, I find it much easier on work days. Have you had a good day? I'm definitely on holiday countdown!!

    Good day here too thanks Allie. Been going through some of my holiday clothes but decided not to try them on till the weekend before we go just incase they don't fit & then send me into panic eating :rolleyes: x

    Gutted this morning. Only lost 2 lb this week. It just shows how a small blip can effect the outcome so much.

    i am quite gutted. Sometimes a "blip" for me can be a pizza and loads if chocolate. But I haven't done any of that (good job as well!). I had some crisps with homous one evening with friends and the next day struggled as a result and ate a pot of olives, (what a rebel, lol!)

    2lb isn't an awful loss. But on a foodless diet 2lb will never be satisfactory for me.

    No more social "treats" for me for the next 3 weeks x

    I'm exactly the same Susie. If I try something on that still doesn't fit I lose all my will power and motivation.

    I've bought a couple of lovely dresses off boohoo (who Ive discovered now do plus size). Prices are great, I've become quite a fan. They fit me now, but if they become a bit big, well hey at least they'll keep me cool.

    Hi Susie and giggle! I'm doing okay-ish. Have been picky again this week. Nothing too serious as stuck to ketogenic foods. But still it could effect my losses. I've been 100% today though. Hope you guys are okay. My office at work is full of cakes, crisps, sweets, etc. it's like murder but not touched a thing xxx
