Anyone getting RC through the NHS?

Hi, I was wondering if anybody has been attending RC through their GP? I was looking at the website & it said that some classes run a referral scheme through your GP or PCT. I've heard about GP's doing this with SW or the local gym but not RC. Anybody had any luck getting classes on this scheme??

rc has stopped doing it now, i was referred last year and half way through the first lot i eas given i was told by my consultant and the nurse at the docs that it had been stopped, i think the only one that does it now is weight watchers

Oh that's a shame, you would think that the fact the RC combines diet & fitness would mean that it's better for you so the NHS would be backing it!??

Hi, I live in Birmingham and I have just been given the choice, RC, WW or SW it's a 12 week course and I have picked RC and start tomorrow night.
In Birmingham it's called lighten up, and you get referred through your gp.
So defiantly still running. :0)
