My addition to April 2018 exercise challenge.
I'm going to try and achieve 1159.6 km.
I log all my rides on Friendfit.

The only exercise I log is my time on the exercise bike.
That's 26 out of 30 Days at an average of 44.6 km each exercise day.
I do two sessions a day most days @ 35 minutes, 92-100 rpm, 36-40 kph & 120-130 bpm.

Previous Months

2018) January 1109 km, February 1182 km, March 1246.7 km
2017) December 1070 km, November 985.8 km, October 1090 km, September 970 km, August 494 km.

8,239.4 km covered from August 2017.

Exercise Bike combined 90.8 km through Easter Sunday & Easter Monday.
Current Distance 90.8 km this month out of 1159.6 km.

As mentioned before going to look into getting back into swimming & fitness classes once I'm settled back into employment.

I do two sessions most days @ 35 minutes, 92-100 rpm, 36-40 kph & 120-130 bpm.
Weight down to 225.8 lbs (16 st 1.8 lbs) from 266 lbs (19 st) next goal is 223 lb (15.99 st)

I'm still debating my aims as I only have 3 weeks before my hiking trip so a balance between keeping my fitness up and avoiding injury is required

Mine was to start C25K, which I did this morning. Just now need to start the batwing arm exercise, weights for this have been under the bed for a few months 😊

I have upped the difficulty level on the exercise bike a notch which has taken the watt level to over 200 watts for the whole duration of exercise.
It certainly feels more difficult and with the sweat level certainly a step up.
I feel the other level used had become a comfort zone in time due to my weight loss and increased fitness and stamina..

Current Distance 135.9 km this month out of 1159.6 km.

With the increase in the physical difficulty on the exercise bike I will see whether I drop anymore weight over the weeks ?
It certainly feels much more of an effort.
Essentially over 40 kph and 200 to 210 watts during the whole session.
Although the distance covered is essentially the same.

Sorry all. I've been somewhat preoccupied by horrendous dental pain following an extraction so not been thinking about exercise.
Need to have a good weekend though as being in pain and miserable had led to me eating all sorts of bad things in the past few days.
I'm going to just say 30 miles by any means and 3 strength sessions before the 21st when I go away.

Going to add up what I have already done and come back and report....

Managed a painkiller based short run around the village. What would normally be a short gentle run was awful and a real struggle and I ended up doing a fair bit of walking. For some reason it was my breathing I was struggling most with.

Anyway. 2.25 miles done.

Sorry to read about your pain -hope the wound heals soon - you did well to exercise at all today.

Thanks for setting this up - spotted this thread today - will be doing 5 aerobic and 2 strength sessions a week.

Unfortunately Friday had to be a rest day from exercise.

Asthma and a very heavy cold meant no exercise.
Asthma means that when I take a chest cold or infection it can hit me particularly bad.
Although I can nearly always shrug things off after 24 hours.

I can exercise without requiring use of my inhalers at all nearly all the time.
Today's session a good attempt after yesterdays missed sessions.
I'm not quite 100% but a little determination goes a long way.

Still a little being held back by the heavy cold.
I'm not far away from my usual ability.

I spent about 3 hours digging veg beds - had planned an exercise workout but the gardening will do for me today ;)
