OK, so today went a bit wrong foodwise. However I had a lovely day in Leeds, and walked for miles shopping and basked in the lovely sun!

For lunch, we went to McDonalds and I ordered a chicken salad, we paid and then was informed there wasn't any chicken salads left. So I had to think on my feet, and ordered the next best thing - chicken nuggets. However, I forgot to ask for the chips to be swapped to carrot sticks in the happy meal. I was going to not eat them... but I did :sigh:

Went to a wetherspoons esque pub, and I ordered the 5 bean chilli as I knew that is usually low in syns. However, the pub didn't have any nutritional info avaliable online, so I have no actual idea if it actually was low in syns. It came with a MASSIVE pot of small nachos, but I just took 10 out and left the rest. It seemed like a more 'spoons sized nacho portion anyways. It was absolutely delicious though, really spicy and had a lovely sauce! I really wanna know how to recreate that sort of sauce, coz my chillies come out a bit dry and un-inspiring with the tinned toms.

I had stuck some weetabix oaty bars in my bag, as I thought it would be my 2nd part of my HEB (alpen at breakkie). Then I found out they are only 1 for a HEB! Yet, they are low in cals and only 3.5 syns. Must have double the amount of fibre, but don't really see having double fibre through two of em being negative? Anyways, what SW says, goes. So, I syned it instead, so that was way too many syns. SIGH.

I then thought; oh well, I'll just cut back tomorrow and then.... realised I had promised the OH enchilladas (his favourite!) which will probably take me upto my full 15 syns. :break_diet:

Went to meadowhall today, and went to McD's for lunch. I got given the most awful chicken salad in the world, salad was brown round the edges, and some of the chicken bits looked like they died about a month ago. We complained and got a new one, and some free food vouchers (which I gave to the OH :) )

Going was good until I decided that my stomach was rumbly during CSI on the evening, and thought that a pasta n sauce would fill the gap.... well it was totally rubbish, sauce wasn't thick enough, so basically ended up eating plain pasta in a tomato soup in the end, and was thoroughly cheesed off that I had eaten 400 calories worth of dissapointment. So, to make myself feel better I ate a tortilla wrap.... which was dry and minging, and I was even more annoyed.... so I ate three, yes THREE oaty bars.

I felt better that I had eaten something that I actually enjoyed, but felt seriously disappointed with my self for eating all of that food afterwards, wasting precious syns and giving myself a crappy start to the week.

To compensate, I did 40 minutes of Wii Zumba. This actually did make me feel better (hallelujah!)

Still annoyed with myself though....

Today we had my OH's parents round, and his mum had brought us lasagne for tea, cake for afters and two easter eggs each :D

I was just about to have something quick for lunch when they arrived, but with all the syns i've consumed today, i'm kinda glad I didn't!

I asked her what was in the lasagne, but i'm not sure on weights or what syns my actual portion contained, but it sure was delicious! There was six of us eating, so i'm sure it can't be too bad.

The lasagne didn't contain LOADS of cheese sauce, which was good, and milk and low fat cheese was used so i'm going to say that the portion I had was my HEA for the day. Only the red wine and the flour in the sauce need to be syned really, so I don't think the syns would be too high!

The mini egg cake was delicious too, [STRIKE]but I can't seem to find the exact thing on any supermarket website's to get the nutritional info from! I found something on myfitnesspal which said 115 cals so 6 syns as a rough estimate.[/STRIKE] I found the packet and it was 285 cals for 1/6th slice of the cake! it was rather small peice too, so I was rather shocked! I was also shocked on the egg too, as it really didn't seem like much for that amount of syns. Now I know why I stay away from chocolate usually!

I keep having two days of over synning, and then rest of the week OK. Will see how I get on!

Looks like you are still doing very well especially as you show a good loss.

Well I am also tracking my food on MyFitnessPal, which tells me how many calories I have consumed, and I didn't go over 1500 at all, and was a weekly average of around 1300. So even though I was high syned, I wasn't actually over consuming on calories.

I know SW isn't about counting calories, but I like to have a guide on what stuff I am eating as it tells you the amount of sugar, fat, saturated fat and fibre too, so like to keep track of that :D

I thought it would be more, but I reckon it's because I haven't eaten enough this week. I've upped my MyFitnessPal data to 1450 so hopefully next week I will lose the 2lbs that will take me to my stone shiny!

I think going over syns and trying to cut back during the week is counter productive too actually, because i've been having high syn meals which is reducing my overall cal intake as i'm not having 'extras'
