Bren's..... Cruise-ade

Slept well , although I have servere hayfever ATM....

Woke up this morning and tried on a few things in the wardrobe (skinny clothes that I keep testing to see if they fit yet/or fit better) and was OVER THE MOON.... to find the skinny black jeans fit, a black dress, some of my blue boot leg jeans. Problem is I dont really have any tops to wear with them for this weather, I only have summer and winter stuff. This means a little retail therapy is needed PRONTO!

So will spend maybe 3or 4 hours in the city this morning, hoping to be home by 1pm. Better go and start getting ready.

Well so far some boots and a top, both on sale!
 
Still here shopping, but I have something for tonight so going to stop looking for me. Need 2 presents now, brother in law and my mums 60th.

Good evening ladies, it's after midnight here.

Just got home from a house warming. A PV day for me and had a glass of wine at the party and a salad with 3 slices of cheese. Best I could do. But was social and don't feel I've ruined my hard work.

Just had my multi and going to guzzle like crazy tomorrow. Good news is I'm feeling thinner! :)

Glad you had a "good" night... it isn't easy when socialising but at least you're "thinking" about what you're eating :)...I think that's a big step psychologically x
 
Yeah I knew I has to make simple and healthy choices that were dukan friendly. Cheese wasn't, but didn't eat much of that, lettuce was. As for the wine going to flush that out with water today.

Not sure whether to PP or PV today? Wednesday is WI and Usually do 2 days of PP before.

Tofu curry, with some onion

3 g/teas and about 1.5ltr of water.
 
Plans to make some kind of sweet muffins, and perhaps rhubarb with my yoghurt in the mornings? and thinking about make vege quiches instead of salmon all the time. I'm into week 4 ATM and not wanting to have a stall in losses. Last week I gained due to TOM. Had a sneeky look and say a loss of the gain and a little extra mso hoping that WI will be good. Going to exercise like mad in the lead up.

Went for a 30 min walk today with the puppy and also constantly was sorting out the last of our boxes from when we moved in 10 weeks ago, before my mum flys in!

She arrives in 3 weeks and I would like to be 5lbs lighter. Not sure what to do whilst she's here for 2 weeks. Perhaps Dukan all day and have a healthy dinner?? If I can be 5 lbs lighter this will make me 71.6kgs and I was hoping that as soon as I reach under 70kg's then I can go onto Conso and loose the remaining on there?

If I was you I'd go on pv cruise for the duration your mum is there.... then a few days of pp and you're right back on track

just makes it easier to eat together if you can have your veggies/rhubarb etc x
 
Do you think that it would be ok to PP during the day anf then a PV evening meal... although really that counts as a PV day anyway I suppose.

Well its late now and I am off to bed to dream about my chocolate muffins....mmmmm Cannot wait to make these tomorrow.

A busy day tomorrow, have to run a couple or errands in the morning and then hoping to send the afternoon doing some serious marking (for school)!

Mouse I'm from Perth, but moved to Melbourne 3 yrs ago now.

Feel thinner but always nervous about WI....:(

Made muffins from a recipe on the net;
2 eggs
4 Tsp oat bran
2 Tsp wheat bran
1 cup skim milk ( didn't use a whole cup)
Cocoa powder and a little splash of flavoring ( will add a little more next time)
Baking powder
Sweetener

Made 6 little ones, might make 4 good ones next time and only have 3?

Bought my mum a bday pressie today, on layby.
 
Just on the bike now for 25 mins before bed. Still guzzling g/tea to make my water intake up to 1.6 ltr for the day.

Food:
Coffee
Quiche and salad. Only had a little o the pasty and left the rest, was a pastry sheet.
4 choc muffins dukan style
Yoghurt
Custard

Not the healthiest of days but still all dukan friendly except that little bit of pastry. WI on Wednesday. Also did a 20 min walk with the chief (puppy) this morning.
 
Hey Bren - how were those chocolate muffins? (how much cocoa did you need? I love my savoury muffins, but I adore chocolate, but I wasn't sure the taste would get through with the paltry allowance we can have...)

I saw a question from you somewhere ref veg only meals on PV, and that you'd seen in the book he'd okay'ed it, yet we'd said the reverse. It's true that a lot of "interpretation" goes on here and, while I was always told 66% protein, 33% veg on my plate, he never says it. Try it, and see if your weight fluctuates. Aside from a soup, I can't imagine ever wanting to try it myself, but as a vegetarian I can see why you'd be interested.

Oooh I tried the tofu pancakes this weekend... "ok"... need to practise as I tended to fiddle before they were ready to be turned, so they collapsed, but they had a nice taste.

When your Mum's with you, I'd advise PVing the whole way - the odd PP lunch why not. Try to stay in ketosis though, if you can...
