    For a while now, I've been quietly checking out your menu's (very inspirational) and helpful posts. I've decided to add in my diary to inspire and help eachother.
    I would love to hear from you!

    Jan/6
    B: boiled eggs, cherry toms, lettuce, 1/2 grapefruit,2 warburton's danish bread (400g) (6syns as not HexB)
    Skimmed milk HexA

    S: FF muller raspberry yoghurt, apples

    L: Chili made with soya mince (about 4syns), tin toms, tabbasco , frozen peas, mushrooms, 2 oxo chicken cubes , onions served with plain boiled rice

    S:potatoes, 4tbsp EL mayo (2syns), 1 tbsp ketchup (1syn)

    D: Baked beans, bubble and squeak (fry light, no milk, butter or cream) 1 tbsp brown sauce (1syn), apples, kiwi, curley wurly (6syns)

    Syns: 22 !!!! miscalculated Hexb and soya mince, thought they were free!


    Jan/7
    B: 42g brown flakes (HexB+4syns), 71g semi dried appricots (HexB), skimmed milk (HexA),
    apple, fry light egg, 1 slice Warburtons danish from 400g loaf (3syns)

    L: Grilled skinless chicken breasts, fresh salad, 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp mayo (1syn)

    S: fruits, boiled eggs with tabasco

    D: Tin of tuna in brine, large salad, 2 tbsp EL mayo (1syn) , boiled eggs (nicoise type of salad), 1 slice of a 400g warburton white danish bread (3syns)

    S: FF muller yoghurt, fruits.

    Tabasco and stock syn free, Chilli Sauce depends on brand

    My advice would be not to guess syn values - check everything before you eat it to avoid any mistakes.

    Decided to give EE a go today, so here goes!

    B: Baked beans, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes, 1 fry light egg, 1 slice of a 400g warburtons danish bread (3syns), milk (HexA)

    S: an apple, a satsuma, 2 alpin light (HexB)

    L: 1 M&S vegetarian sushi pack (1.5syns), pineapple chuncks.

    S: 1 FF muller toffee, tea with milk from allowance

    D: LOTS of roasted vegs with balsamic vinegar and 1 tbsp olive oil (6syns), about 80g of cubed potatoes, rainbow trout fish dry roasted with some dark soy sauce, an apple

    SYNS: 10.5

    Another beautiful day, on EE:

    B: 3 Ryvita multi grain crispbread (HexB), topped with fat free tesco cottage cheese (free), cucumbers, tomatoes, salad leaves dressed in balsamic vinegar, tabasco, milk (HexA)

    S: 1 FF muller light

    L: home made tuna pasta salad (1/3 tinned sweetcorn, 50g steamed carrots & parsnips, 1/3 sweet onion, some salad leaves, 1/2 tin of tuna in brine, tabasco, 2tbsp extra light mayo 1syn)

    S: cherries, radishes, tea with milk from allowance, freddo caramel (5syns)

    D: Quorn cumberland sausages, SW chips and parsnips, 1tbsp ketchup (1syn), 2tbsp E L mayo (1syns), 1 slice of a 400g warburtons danish loaf (3syns)

    B: 2 bars alpin light (HexB), milk (HexA), a satsuma, 1 FF muller, Quorn sausage and few SW potato and parsnips chips leftover from last night's dinner.

    S: Fruits, superdrug blackcurrent cold drink (2syns), 1 ryvita multigrain (1syns), 2 slices of a danish warburtons 400g loaf (6syns) topped with fat free cottage cheese, tomatoes & tabasco.

    Late lunch/Early supper: chicken spatchcock (no oil), corn on the cob,1 medium red onion,1 garlic bulb, 100g parsnips & carrots cubes, lots of tabasco, 2/3 a pouch of Uncle Ben's Express Golden vegetables rice (1.5 syn)

    Ugh..Got a cold..supposed to go to the dentist today, but I don't think it's gonna happen as my blocked nose means mouth breathing, plus consistant sneezing!

    Jan/11 Green day:

    B: Blackcurrent cold and flu drink (2syns), milk (HexA), 3 Ryvita Multigrain (HexB1)
    with fat free cottage cheese and tomatoes and mashed banana and cinnamon topping, Fruits (mandarin, apples, banana, kiwis).


    S: 2 Alpen light bar (HexB2), , Options belgian hot chocolate drink (2syns), 2 slice of bread (6syns) couple of spoonfuls of fat free cottage cheese.


    L: Pasta with tinned tomato, 1/4 large onion, spices, a medium carrot, 100g booccoli.

    S: FF muller, fruits, blackcurrent cold & flu drink (2syns), 1 teaspoonful tesco hummus (1syns)


    D: 1/4 knorr thick vegetables (3syns) 50g Ainsley Harriot couscous spice sensation (a 100g
    has 0.5 syns so negligible as sharing it), 1/2 tin chickpeas, salad leaves, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, bell pepper, balsamic vinegar.

    Syns: 16 (4 of which on Cold&Flu drink)

    Jan/12 Green Day:

    B: 1 Blackcurrent Cold & Flu drink (2syns), 2 wholemeal slices of a 400g loaf (HexB1), 1 slice (out of a five slices packet) Tesco honey roast ham (2syns), sliced 1/3 tomato, few spinach leaves, mustard and a tbsp Extra Light Mayo (0.5syn), milk (HexA), FF muller, a pear.

    L: SW chips with 1 tbsp EL mayo (0.5syns), 1 tbsp ketchup (1syn), mustard.

    S: A slice of honey roast ham (2syns) fruits, 2 alpen light bar choc & orange (HexB2)

    A fry light egg, spinach, 5 slices of white bread!!! (15syns) with 2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter (9syns) !!!!


    D: fruits and vegs only, to try and make it up plus an hour Davina DVD !! Exercised with Davina but ended up scoffing home made couscous with a tbsp of sultana's !!! Felt really sick afterwards!! UGH

    I think the reason I ate like that was because I didn't prepare or plan a propre meal for lunch and I didn't even know if today will be a green, red or EE day.. which is silly because i'm eating at home today and thus have more control.
    Even a tin of baked beans would've made my lunch of SW chips more fulfiling and substantial.. especially on a subconscious level, also boredom and being lazy and ill. Also, I've had my shopping delivered today with the correct type and size of bread to be a HexB, so felt like I needed to finish the last slices of white bread that was mistakenly bought to be a Hexb but ended up being synned.

    Syns: 34 !!!!!!!!! (more like 38syns after sultana's and couscous !!)

    A new day.. a fresh start

    Right, will limit syns as much as possible today, and exercise again.:D
    Had a very sneaky look on the scales.. my weight is back to 159!:rolleyes: I think it's a ''fake/water'' gain as I'm approaching my time of the month.
    This is why we shouldn't sneak a peak!:eek:;)

    Jan/13 Green:

    B: Milk (HexA), 56g Bran flakes (2xHexB), fruits.

    S: More fruits.

    L: Jacket sweet potato filled with 125g fat free cottage cheese, spinach and tomatoe salad with balsamic dressing, a pear. a tsp mustard (0.5syn some say?)

    S: 1 muller light, 3 cherry toms, couscous made with stock, 125g fat free cottage cheese.

    D: Mixed beans cassoulet (magazine recipe) with plain rice, an apple and a pear.

    Syns: 0 (well done me!)

    GreEeEeeeEEeeeeEn eyed monster took over my plan to have an EE !!!

    Jan/14 Green:

    B: Spanish tortilla (180g cubed fry light sauteed potatoes, small onion, few mushrooms & 3 eggs). served with a handful of spinach leaves and tabasco. Milk with tea(HexA).


    L: Mixed bean cassoulet with plain rice (leftovers!).

    S: fruits, Options hot drink (2syns), 1 slice of bread, 3 alpen light bars (HexBx2)

    D: More bean cassoulet and rice!!
