Yeah CD is good and I lost 9lb in my first week and hoping for another good week this week too but its just so dull and bland and everywhere I look I see food!! :)

I've promised myself i'll stick it out for a month but im just not sure I can do anymore than that even with good weight loss.

How is everyone else finding it?

i've been on CD for 7.5 months. it gets a lot easier after a while, although now that i think back, it was pretty dull and bland:) but to be honest, when u get past the first month, it's a lot easier to stick to it:)

I'm thinking about taking up this cambridge diet thing. I only just heard about it yesterday when I discovered this forum, but I've read some reviews and while a couple are not great everyone else seems to rant and rave and think it's brilliant...! I have tried things like Weight Watchers or just calorie counting but I always seem to cheat myself and I think if what I can have is regimented then I shouldn't stray... Or maybe I'm just kidding myself again!!

At first I was put off by the cost but then I'd probably spend that much on food in a week anyway... I will just feel sorry for my boyfriend as I won't be that up for cooking him his evening meal anymore ;)

I'm just so of feeling lethargic and down about my size and weight.. something has to be done... I hope I can one day look as great as you do izmirka!

Hi everyone ...

I've booked my first consultation for monday morning. But i have a few questions for people who are currently on it ... any advice would be grateful.

I'm 5"6 and 10st 13lbs. Although i'm not too much overweight i'm podgy and not comfortable ... anyways .. enough about my sob story.
Will i be able to loose 1st 7lbs in 6 weeks? My partner is coming home then and i want to suprise him because my weight has effected our relationship (i'm not confident naked ... get the drift). Why i ask is because i don't have a huge amount to loose does it take longer to come off?

I've read all the stories and they are so inspirational. I'm so weak when it comes to food and because i'm living by myself until my partner comes home i'm really worried that i'll break ... any tips????

Keep up the good work everyone :)

Hi Kirsty,
I started 5 weeks+ ago and was 13st 1, so quite a bit heavier than you, but I have already lost 19lbs. My weight loss seems incredibly slow, possibly due to HRT, but it is consistent. I think everybody is different, but whatever you lose, it will make you feel happier, more comfortable and more confident - honest! I've certainly lost more, quicker than on any other diet before and for that reason I'm sticking to it 100%
Good luck!

My weight loss on SS so far is in my signature.
Hope that helps someone.

Hi all
I'm on my fourth day today and i have cheated and checked my weight... can't seem to be able to wait till next Monday. I have 3.5St to lose and have already gone down 6lbs in 3 days! This is giving me more confidence and motivation to carry on but i have to confess i am thinking about food more than i used to...

Well done on getting this far. It is a test of character getting through the first few days. And I think the thing I've learnt the most is how many of those cravings and feelings of hunger are actually in my head! If you feel yourself reaching for food, just ask yourself if you really are hungry or is it just your head telling you that you are?

I hope to soon be able to add my "lost diary" in this thread, love to see that CD works and I'm not the only one who struggled, every now and then, to sticking to it... thanks

Hello

Thought i would share my story and journey too. I have just started week 5 on ss (no cheats) and still have a way to go but will keep updating this post as the weeks go on and the weight comes off.

Start weight 17 stone 3lbs

Week 1 -12lbs = 16st 5
Week 2 -2lbs (totm) = 16st 3
Week 3 -6lbs = 15st 11
Week 4 -3lbs = 15st 8

Week 1 - 4 weight loss total -23lbs!

Newbie

Hi all

I started CD at the beginning of last week, I only lost 3lb in my first week :sigh: this week so far i have lost another 3lb... with my second weigh in due tomorrow.

I am 5'2 and weigh in at 10st 10lb as at this morning!! Is this normal weight loss for someone my weight? It just seems very little compared to what most people are recording...

Thank you for any advice, this thread is very inspirational, I am hooked on reading the forums for motivation!!
