Can I eat lean Gammon ?

Hi Everyone,

I know It says no fatty pork but can you eat lean gammon ?

The reason I am asking is that I can buy 2.5kgs of mishapes from the butcher where I work for just 3 pounds ! This is so cheap .

Do you think it would be ok ? Obviously if there are any bits of fat I would trim them off.

Too much salty food can be a problem and stall losses, yes.

I wouldn't risk it, if I were you. Besides, you're not far off your target, so it shouldn't be very long before you're on Conso - and then you'll be able to eat lean pork as long as the fat is trimmed off (and gammon if you like on your gala days!)
