haha, oh dear! I find that computers just make me type really fast and I don't really look at my grammer and spelling etc on a forum! I've noticed I've typed things in the past and they make no sense whatsoever because of one mistake but I always hope people catch my draft! Best of luck everyone with the weight loss.

Probably the reason some people write loose instead of lose is the fault of phonics. Two oo's make the ooooooo sound, like boo, so it is more intuitive to write loose instead of lose.

Blame our english language for having so many inconsistencies.

..............I always write loose first but recognise it is wrong on read back and then I correct it. I agree with fatstuff's (I don't like calling you that I wish you had your name on your post) possible reasoning for this.
