I felt the same this morning, but was still light headed so am scoffing a sandwich.

Afternoon all didn't have the buffet after all got a lovely salad with giant couscous, beetroot and homous. Got a feeling a STS is coming on for Friday WI, but that's ok.

Funny but just knowing I can eat whatever I want makes me not want it if that makes any sense? Stood at the desserts counter in m&s for ages realizing I could have one and in the end got a chocolate bar, for my cup of tea and didn't have it. Hmmm.

Started out lovely day, but now it's raining. :(
 
raining on and off here,so not bothering to hang out the washing,although that would be exercise i guess:D
 
right ok.....how for the love of all things awesome did that happen....:eek:
 
Afternoon Val, everyone appears to have gone JUDD crazy!!!

Will have to have a nosey but not switching as too close to my holiday and don't need the gain!!!

I may have a looky into this mushroom pate Malarky though with almond flour bread as it sounds awesome!!!

Jo - I have to report back that the mushroom pate was....horrible! I overcooked and overblended them and it looked like something a cow might produce - gross! Back to the drawing board on that one.

How are you getting on today, Val?

I'm thinking Slightly sautéed mushrooms, boursin, garlic and herbs blended together with a little black pepper......hhhhmmmmmmmmmm!

Shame I can't have boursin on my DD though...you'll have to have it for me :)

Val - how was your courgette soup? I just had my first bowl mmmm, it's so filling, too much pepper though. Meant to tell you, I got some mini light Philly choc tubs - 89 cals each. Might have to be for later :)

Your right not to switch before holiday Jo, it must be coming up soon?

Sad day. My FIL passed away in the early hours of this morning. He was very old and unwell so not unexpected but still seems surreal. He was lovely and will be missed. Spent the day with family.

Managed to keep 100% to plan today as just not feeling hungry and now feel really tired so may take a nap.

Amazing how filling courgette soup is, or maybe my stomach is shrinking.

pouring here, but what else is new? x
 
So sorry about your father in law. Glad you could have the whole family together - there's always a degree of shell-shock involved in these things and spending time with other people who understand can help. Xx
 
Sorry to hear the news Val , very sad, small comfort I know but it must be a relief that it happened whilst your son is still here, it would have been awful for him to lose his grandad when he is in America. Take care x
 
Thanks Sandra and Lainey, I'm so glad it didn't happen while we're away. Would have been awful for my husband to be without us for support. He feels like he's losing the 2 main men in his life within a month of each other (his dad and then son going to America) so is quite down about that.

Working the dreaded afternoon shift, but really can't complain. Off the weekend and looking forward to relaxing. Rain again and flood warnings!

Not my official weigh in but half pound down. I'm delighted I thought for sure a STS but will weigh in again on Saturday.

UP day today and I was sure I overdid the last one, so won't worry about getting in a certain amount of calories just eat until full and see what happens. He does say your appetite does naturally suppress when the 'skinny gene' or SIRT1 levels rise. Maybe there is something more than just calories to this?

Having a curry with all the family tomorrow night on a DD and for once not stressing about calories.

My DD are now so much easier to handle and I'm finding I have as much energy on a DD as an UP day so may start to exercise.
