CornishTT''s weight loss diary

Lol I tried it in my hair, never again I looked like I had dipped my head in chip fat for a week after vigorous washing :(

It's sooo good for your hair. Its been done for centuries in India. If put it on 29mins or so before you wash your hair. The trick is to add shampoo before water.

Well done tones - you've done brilliantly x.

Lol at the scrubbing, sounds about right. Will do what busy said and use shampoo before water, makes sense.

Re: My Atkins diary

So, I made bacon, egg cheese muffins yesterday. Partly inspired by Susie et al and partly because of this pic. 1376476867450.jpg

So I attempted my own!
6 eggs,
6 streaky bacon rashes
100g cheese
Seasoning
1 tsp oregano (optional)

Heat oven to 180C.

Line muffin pan with streaky bacon.

In separate bowl mix eggs and season (didn't use salt because of bacon n cheese). I added 50g of cheese into egg mix and divided equally by 6.

I baked for 20mins then put the other 50g cheese on top and baked for further 10mins or till cooked through.

I personally will only use 50g cheese next time, sprinkled on top, ccause my muffin holes are too small and were overflowing into bottom of oven (nothing worse then smell of burning eggs :boke:) and it didn't need that much cheese.

Next time, not mixing up eggs, just pop one egge per muffin hole and skip the cheese all together. As per 1376477074670.jpg

Re: My Atkins diary

Hehe, thanks guys! Hope you don't mind me photographing my food n showing you, helps me visualise better when I actually see it rather than just reading about it.

I will catch up with your diaries later, today is project house blitz again while kiddies at playschool.

But, before I sign off I wanted to share with you something. I ran out of eggs (susie knows how I feel). By that's not what I wanted to share with you, I made a mim without an egg!

I used the following:
30g ground linseed
50g mild cheddar
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (I love a good burn, me)
1tbsp water
1/8 tsp cream of tartar
1/16 tsp bicarb
(only use above 2 as still can't find my baking powder and keep forgetting to buy some)

Greated cheese n mixed all ingredients up in my baby whizzer till looked like wet breadcrumbs. Then virtually 'spread' it with a knife into lid of plastic takeaway container.

Cooked on high in micro for 1.5mins and it was good! Let it sit in lid for about 30 seconds to slightly cool then turned out into plate to cool completely, turned out like this! It was good, a bit stiffer than the eggy version but it was good, gooood (in the voice of Jim Carry in Bruce Almighty).

Catch up with your diaries later, have a good one y'all x

Love your pics hun - so keep posting them!

That bread looks amazing too, a stiffer version might actually be better, I'm thinking...

Hi Toni, your pics are great! I agree it's much nicer to see pics to inspire than just reading a menu.

Lovely photos I am going to try the muffins, I also like the sound of the eggless min, I don't like mins, I find they are too slimy, so I might give the eggless ones a try.

Re: My Atkins diary

Hi guys! Sorry haven't been around for the day, not in the proper frame of mind, still following the diet (and proud for it as when I feel rubbish so is my woe) and hoping for another good loss on Tuesday but know it's slow down time as of Thursday been on it 3 weeks. I've been drinking at least 3 litres of water a day, so happy with that too.

I am trying to keep up with your diaries, will respond in them. No experimental food atm, tho did make a nice salad today with baby spinach, rocket, kabanossi sausage and maasdamer cheese (like ementale (spl?) cheese with mayo, lemon juice and sesame seed oil dressing, it was nice combo. x

Hopefully you will have a good loss. Massive achievement sticking to it when in the past you may not have. X
