Debbie's Food Diary..... newbie so need all the help I can get.

Sunday - Extra Easy

Brunch - 2 x WW brown bread (HEB), eggs, 2x Sainsburys BGTY low fat sausages (5 syns)

Dinner - Roast chicken(skin off), 1 small baked potato, 1 small boiled potato, cauliflower, broccoli, sweetcorn, 1 tbsp gravy granules (no fat - 1 syn)

Extras - Options (2 syns), Milk (HEA), strawberries, blueberries, Mullerlight, pepsi max, cod liver oil tablet :eek:
Syns total= 8
 
Monday - Red Day

breakfast - 2 weetabix (HEB), milk (HEA)

lunch - ham and egg salad (spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers). 2x tbsp WW thousand island dressing (1 syn)

dinner - chicken stuffed with Quark and garlic, wrapped in lean bacon, carrots, cabbage

Extras - strawberries, banana, blueberries, mullerlights, pepsi, water, 2x Alpen Lite bars (HEB)

Tuesday - Green Day

Breakfast - 2x sainsburys BGTY sausages - (5 syns), mushrooms, eggs, lean bacon (HEB)

Lunch - pasta, mushrooms, onion, 56g Philly Lite (4 syns)

Dinner - SW chips, 2x vegetarian burgers (1 syn), 28g cheddar (HEA), 1x wholemeal roll (HEB), 1 tbsp Hellmans Lite (2 syns)

Extras - Options (2 syns), milk (HEA), strawberries, blueberries, mullerlights, pepsi max, water

Syns today - 14
 
Wednesday - Red Day

Breakfast - 2 x WW brown bread,(HEB) eggs, mushrooms

Lunch - WW chicken noodle soup (2.5 syns), 1 x wholemeal roll (HEB), 2x veg burgers (1 syn), salad, 1 x Hellmans Lite (2 syns)

Dinner - chicken omelette, beansprouts, peas (1.5 syns)

Extras - Options (2 syns), milk (HEA), strawberries, blueberries, banana, Mullerlights, pepsi max, water
Total syns today - 9 syns

Your omlette sounds lovely Debby, I would never have thought of using beansprouts, really nice must try that.
 
Thursday - Red day

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (HEB), milk (HEA)

Lunch - lean steak and salad (spinach, tomatoes, spring onion, pepper, cucumber, sweetcorn (1.5 syns) , 1 x tbsp WW salad cream (1 syn)

Dinner - Spaghetti and meatballs.. lean mince, pasatta, herbs, loads of veg, and spaghetti (56g = 3 syns, as its not wholewheat)

Extras - strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, mullerlights, pepsi max, water

Total syns- 5.5 syns

Friday - Red Day
(ok long story short, but it was daughters award ceremony today at school and the family are having a celebration dinner out tonight...oh noooooo. They have picked pizza hut, so I have thought that I will get the smallest pizza possible and use my HEa's for the cheese and the HEb's for the base. I will get one with heaps of veg on it, and a salad.Please let me know what you all think.

Breakfast - Bran Flakes (HEB)and Milk(HEA) - in a hurry to get to the ceremony on time....
Lunch - tuna and sweetcorn salad (sweetcorn - 1.5 syns), 1 tbsp WW salad cream (1 syn)
Dinner - Pizza Hut Hawaiian Pizza (8 syns per slice - so total of 36 syns- smallest pizza on menu), salad
 
Hi Debby

I'm new back to SW myself but just a thought about tonight. Pizza hut do all sorts of pasta now. Why don't you convert to an EE day today and you could go for a tomato based pasta dish (with or without chicken/fish etc). Have a great big salad with it. I bet it would be less syns than pizza and perhaps would help you enjoy the evening even more? I bet they post their menu's on their website.

Lunch - cold meat salad (turkey slices, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes etc) and 2 tbsp Hellmans Extra Lite ( 1syn )
Dinner - chicken stuffed with Quark and garlic, wrapped in lean bacon, served with SW chips and peas
Extras - Turkish Delight (9.5 syns), strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mullerlight, pepsi max and water.

Dinner - boiled potatoes, loads of veg, chicken (skin off), 1 tbsp gravy - no fat (1 syn), 1 tsp Flora Extra Lite (0.5 syns)

Extras - NO FRUIT LEFT ARRGGHHHHH, mullerlight, water, pepsi max, Options (2 syns), Milk (HEA), 1 Alpen Lite bar ( 3 syns)
Total syns - 6.5 syns
 
Monday - Red day

Breakfast - Quorn sausages, egg, mushrooms (all fry light)
Lunch - cold meat salad (1 tbsp Hellmans Extra Lite - 0.5 syns), Ryvitta (HEB), 28g Philly Lite ( 2syns)
Dinner - chicken kiev (heb), selection of veg
Extras - Options (2 syns), milk (hea), 1 Alpen Lite bar (3 syns), strawberries, Mullerlights, pepsi max, water.

Your breakfast's always sound so nice Debby.....I am to idle to cook a breakfast just for myself during the week (hubby is working) , so it's just scrambled eggs or porridge done in the mircowave - idle or what, LOL.....
 
Donnie, believe it or not, its because I have NO imagination when it comes to putting meals and menus together. lol. Thats why most of my menus look the same, Im just an old bore. hehe.
I would love porridge sometimes, but I dont even know what to buy or how to cook it. Do you cook it from scratch or do you use a sachet.?
