Doctorwhogirl's Journey of Maintenance on Discovery! :)

Thanks Jaly! I'm not considering the loss a loss! But unsure cos I was sick! But we'll see next week.

So update on first day of propoints....

Micro oats 4pp
Skimmed milk 1pp
Kiwi and clementine 0pp

Tortilla wrap 3pp
Tomato puree 0pp
Cheese 30g low fat 2pp
Oven roasted veg on top of the "pizza" 0
Roasted butternut squash and onion

Mini babybel light 1pp

And now

I'm sick as a dog here. Stomach ache seriously bad since one o clock after my lunch. Can't eat or drink anything. Just having a drop of warmed skimmed milk with ginger and sweetener....

So much for day one!
And I had a gorgeous recipe ready for dinner and made dinner for tomorrow and everything :(

Aw thanks pet.

The warmed milk and ginger has done MIRACLES! I was literally buckled over in pain and on the verge of getting the doctor on call. Then Mammy arrived with the milk and a hotwater bottle and now it's nine o clock and I'm feeling ok! My tummy is still a bit gurgly and sore but the hunger is back anyway!

So I managed to have my nice dinner, I just laid off the extra veg and sides and that. Don't want to overload my stomach all at once!

So here is the first day of food on propoints and what I may have later if stomach holds up! Want to get off to a good start!

Tesco micro oats and skimmed milk 5pp (got the plain ones today which are a point less which will save me a point!)
Kiwi and clementines

Tortilla wrap 3pp
Tomato puree 0pp
Cheese 30g low fat 2pp
Oven roasted veg on top of the "pizza" 0 pp
Roasted butternut squash and onion 0pp

Babybel light 1pp

Chicken and Rosemary burger in Brown Roll (ww ireland recipe, was delicious!) 10pp
SF Jelly 0pp

WW recipe scone (3) and philadelphia choc small tub (2) 5pp

No fruit tonight, even though I have melon there but I'm not chancing it. I've been eating it late and I have a feeling eating it that late (and the kiwis) may be behind my tummy troubles! Will try and eat the fruit in the day to allow it to digest properly.

Daily: 26/26
Weekly: 0/49
Activity: 0 Couldn't do any. That's today and yesterday. I miss my exercise!!!!!!! Gym tomorrow definitely to do a wee jog and some weight. But suppose will have to see how I am....
:(

Might try that pizza and maybe the burgers. If I ever have the time! Will check the ingredients and prob try on my day off. Did you just grill everything on top of the tortilla?

Hi Karen!

For the Tortilla I put in the veg on a tray underneath the butternut squash in the oven. When they were cooked I took them out. I then spread the tomato puree on the wrap and placed the veg on it and the cheese. Then I put it back in the oven for about 3/4 minutes just to melt the cheese!

The burger I have to say was a revelation! I used a chicken breast rather than the amount in the recipe because I was cooking for one but I think it would be more or less the same amount of points. Really easy to make and I felt like I was having a proper treat! I also didn't use the parmesan in the recipe and instead but a wee bit of cheddar (6g) grated on top. AMAZING! Here is the recipe

Weight Watchers Ireland | Chicken, rosemary and Parmesan burger

There's a lovely beef burger on there too! :)

Ahh thanks! I will give it a try! Pizza sounds nice, when I get a chance to shop I will get the ingredients and give it a try. I will let you know how I get on. And the burger yum!

Thanks guys! just had breakfast and feeling ok so might even chance the gym now for some intervals and weights! Just a bit tired but feeling good!

How's everyone this afternoon!?

Ready for a new day?! :)
I know I'm basically doing the same thing as I was doing for the past few weeks but there is something exciting about starting the propoints; checking values, finding things that are nice and low to eat! It's great!

Am glad you are feeling better, enjoy your work out :0) thats good that pp has giving you a buzz,I was the same when I started simply filling. Its kinda like starting afresh which I think is a good thing :0) day is going well thanks :0)

Work out was good! Simply and Filling looks good. My mum did weightwatchers with me and I think she would like that! I must give her the book!

Work out was nice. I usually do classes so it's hard to judge how much I worked off just in the gym by myself. I got a new app for my phone that does countdowns, and my classes are all about intervals so I tried to follow the same today. It's a brilliant brilliant app and you don't find the time flying when you're having 30secs on then a 20sec break between rounds.
Basically what I did in gym was:
5 min warm up on treadmill
5 min intervals on treadmill (30 secs fast, 30secs recovery)
3 sets of weights lat pull downs, chest press (30 secs set then 20secs rest x3)
5 min spinning bike intervals (30secs fast, 30secs recovery)
3 sets of weights on the row weight machine (can't remember the name!)
3 sets of squat thrusters with 8k kettlebell
And some more weights, few sit ups and few barbell squats.

I'm thrilled I wrote all that down it looks oh so impressive! :p ;)

Here's today's food and plan for today

Everything looks gorgous! Yes put the pics up don't know why but it just helps lol! Just a straightforward ww meal for me for dinner still in work haven't got time and I'm saving points for some coors later!! Gona do a load of cooking and freezing when I'm off next week which isn't till sat just realised!! I might get a chance after work if I'm off early! Defo the pasties cause they are handy. I did get a jog in this morning before work so not too bad!

Thanks Daisy! :)

Karen well done on the jog!

I'm going to post a picture of the pasties cooked in the next post from my phone!
They were DELICIOUS! One of the nicest WW things I've ever made! Daisy just be careful if you do make them cos the pastry has low fat spread in it rather than butter!

The good thing about the pasties is that it makes four and I cook for myself because my parents aren't counting. So I have 3 dinners in the freezer!

Picture coming!

This was my afternoon snack of melon, yog and babybel

Thanks hun! Dunno why my pictures are coming out sideways! Ha!

Vice versas were my obsession when I was little! And I was always going on about how they should bring them back (them and Cadbury Top Deck!) so when they came back in shops about 2/3 people text me to let me know! Shows how obsessed I was!!!!!!!

The gym looks like more than it was! But I was fairly sweaty!
Sexy as hell the gym look! :p
