Dog lovers out there???

Hi everyone,

I have a long haired collie cross called Tia. She is nearly 12 now but showing no signs of slowing down!! I got her when she was six weeks old when her mother Molly who was my Mum's dog sadly died.

She is great most of the time but makes cleaning an absolute nightmare!! Hoover, mop, air freshener, kitchen spray, dusters, you name it - anything to do with cleaning she attacks it. She once managed to get old of a feather duster when she was a pup and I came home to a kitchen covered in feathers and a long stick!! She even barks at hoovers on the TV

I will try to get some pictures of her on here soon.

Meet Smudge

I adore dogs. Infact I spend all day kissing my dog and shouting at my kids!!! Love my kids too though. Haha.

Here she is. Her name is Smudge. She's a red Boxer and she was 5 at the end of November and we've had her 5 years this coming Thursday! How time flies. I love my dog! Seriously - it's scary! ;)

OMG your doggies are all soooo cute. We have 3 rescues...a greyhound, a german shepherd cross and a diabetic rottie. I couldn't imagine life without them!

Put a picture of my dog in the pet's corner section earlier!

Always wanted a dog ever since i was young, but parents always said no! Then about 3 years ago they were swaying with the idea! They were thinking about it.... That's all i needed! Newspapers out i found any advert i could see with Golden Labrador written on it :)

My mom had gone out to work, but told my dad what i was planning, I went and got my little puppy and brought him home, my dad's friend was visiting when mom arrived back from home and all she was hit with when she came in was a tiny little bundle of golden fluff! She was playing with him and thought he was adorable! My dad's friend got up to leave and she said to him "Aren't you going to take your dog with you?" he said that's not my dog that's yours! .... The look she gave me! :D

But now around 3 years later many shoes later, two sofa's later and a lot of shouting and tears.... He is as cute as ever! Taking up the whole of the sofa stretching out, Mulder 4 years old in Nov :)

Wouldn't change any of it for the world... and surprisingly neither would my mom :D

2 years ago we rescued brother and sister dalamatians, Scout and Timba, they were skin and bone and are both deaf so were being overlooked in the dog home. My hubby and I fell in love with them, bought them home and have 2 amazing dogs. They are a healthy weight now and respond to sign language (when they want to!!) and I wouldn't swap them for the world.
When I am able to I will post a photo, don't think I can at the moment as I'm quite new.

My 8 months old staffy/rotti cross.Lola is her name, she was free to a good home at 3 months old,had a shaky start in life but you wouldn't know it if you met her :0)
