Extra Easy Doing the Mashed Potato

    Hi everybody

    I love mashed potatoes, however, I love them with lots of cream and butter (those were the days) So, I wondered if any of you resiliant and lovely people had any ideas and tips you could pass on as to what to add to mash to make them yummy again!

    Hi, it's me again!!
    you could put a garlic clove in when you boil the pots, leave it in and mash with your daily hex a cheese triangle allowance- lovely!

    I've mashed quark into potatoes - not quite the same as butter and milk but not bad !!

    Laughing cow triangles are yummy mashed into potatoes! Even better with some chives/spring onion/onion/leek (I love all oniony type things!) xx

    Oooo Dairylea or laughing cow triangles are good in mash too! And you gets loads for HEXA allowance :D

    Hiya, we just use a dash of semi skimmed milk which could be part of your Hex and salt n pepper :) xx

    Oh and last night we had wholegrain mustard too and it was soooo nice! x

    yep i love it with laughing cow light and salt and black pepper .. also I normally put 1 sweet potato in with the mash .. makes it taste even better :)

    I do the egg thing too -lovely on shepherd pie etc as it keeps it nice and light and it puffs up slightly mmmmm

    I use garlic powder and fat free greek yogurt or if i want to splash out half yogurt half ww creme fraiche (1/2 syn per tbsp)

    I also like it spicy with some wasabi mixed in!
