Exercise !!!!

Deffo Alpa, there's just something about it that instantly makes my day better. And I'm the opposite to you - I don't think I've ever run a ten minute mile on the road! I think the treadmill does a lot for the work for you.

Susie, I knew you would believe me, even though there are probably doubters here. Mwah!
 
Lisa I'd love to have that sort of muscle power at my disposal.

Might try a little 'upper body workout' like that at the telly later on ;)
 
I have exercised my arms today - polishing tiles lol - although the alcohol is calling my name I really must desist..............or I will undo all my good work and go back to being a pudding.

Right, time for some of this - walk up hill and down dale to the supermarket for dinner and then an hour out with dogbert, followed by hoovering and dancing into the wee sma' hours :D

Nah, the time is right actually. Have been promising to do something for several days but keep chickening out. Sunday I promise I'll be out for my normal run, come hell or high water, then it's back into the routine!
 
Well, you inspired me Bren. :D

My OH took the kids to the cinema this afternoon, and instead of the nap that I had planned, I just went and ran 6 miles instead!

Felt brilliant, although I was so so slow after doing nothing for the last few weeks.

Thanks lovey - back in the saddle now! :)

Sorry, I've just bagged the gold medal in that after my huge lie-in PLUS return to bed this morning Susie! Keep up the training though! ;)

A bit, thx hun - but I get a lot of noise from the young lad upstairs. I'm sure he doesn't mean it, he's a bloke and just doesn't think - but he was crashing around at 4am and it took forever to get back to sleep :(

But am good now :)
 
Another 6 mile run on the treadmill today. Hope to get out with the running club tomorrow night too - it's over a month since I made it there because of the snow and ice, and I'm really dying to get back out with them. :)
 
Anybody got any specific exercise plans or goals for the next few months?

I'm looking for another half-marathon in Spring - may do my local one this year as I'm not ashamed for people who know me to actually see me in a tracksuit now! :)
