Fasting to goal....

Well yesterday wasn't a true fast. Kept calories below 800 so pretty happy anyway.

Weighed this morning and 1lb down so really pleased with that too although am going to try really hard to have better control on my up days this week. Plan is to fast Monday, Wednesday and Saturday xx

Just been looking at ur losses....can i ask wat u have done diff in week 5 and 6- 2 and 3 lbs off is amazing and what i really need!!!! what do you normally have on your fast days....do u do the 16:8 thing?? do u do much exercise also??? thanx in advance hun x

Well I've actually only been doing it for 2 weeks and lost 6.5 so far which I'm really pleased with but know it will get harder now.

I keep calories below 500 on fast days and 2000 on up days. I try to do 3 fasts a week but I only managed 2 and a low cal day yesterday as had a monster hangover!

I do quite a bit of exercise but have cut down a bit since I've started fasting as didn't want to get too hungry and fall off the wagon!

i have been doing SW and now i am always staying the same and want to up my losses. i have tried to stay under 500 cals but by midday i often give up and say il do it tomoorow instead and it never has happened yet. im 9st 4 last week on weigh in at SW but had a total binge on Wed and have prob put weight on so dreading weigh in this week. I see u are a similar wieght and 3lbs in one week is a fab loss!!! I think with SW they say unlimited amount of free food but pasta, rice etc are all calories at the end of the day so i wonder if i do 5:2 will it help. im so confused. Thanx for your help
 
I didn't think I'd be able to stick to 500 calories but eating what I'd like on up days makes me want to fast! I think free for is a tricky one... I can eat and eat sometimes so its never worked for me but I know lots of people swear by it. Good luck with whatever you decide x
 
Bluegh... Bad food today! Feeling stuffed and ready for my fast. Did run a half marathon though so hoping that limits the damage!!

Fast going ok so far...

7.30 swimming for 45 minutes
9.30 popcorn 88 cals
1.30 chicken pieces from m and s plus blueberry pot

Tonight will be half a tub of soup, trashy TV and an early night!

Hope everyone else is ok. Am going to try and have a more restrained up day tomorrow and not worry about using up all my calories xx

Morning!

Feels good to have an up day. Think I might have been more hungry as I didn't eat much after lunch on Sunday.

Anyway plan for today:

30 mins weights followed by 10 mins bike
B porridge
L chicken pesto salad
D omelette with sweet potato fries.

Have already snacked on some mini milka chocs so need to be good for the rest of today!

How is everyone else getting on? Xx

Kim! Lovely to hear from u! I am so sorry as I did catch up on the nines a few weeks ago and read about your lovely Charlie. Really feel for you as nothing can replace such a loyal best friend!

I'm doing ok thanks. I gained a stone post wedding but it's coming off. I love sw but to be honest, it just doesn't fit with my life very well as I have to socialise a lot with work and it stresses me. Fasting seems to be working so far... I am not sure it will be forever and once I get into the nines I will reassess.
