Food diary of a Big lad

No ive not tried them but if they are like snack a jacks then they are not for me. I had a pack of french fries today but only because I didn't plan to have quorn sausages (1 syn each) but I ended up working really late. I prefer to snack on fruit or chicken and Turkey most of the time but I just fancied a treat today. How are you getting on.

Will do. Good luck with the weigh in. Why starve your self? Just eat the same thing every week that way it wont affect your weight.

Lost 1.5 so pleased with that.
I don't know why I do it. I have scales at home and have noticed how certain foods effect my weight so I try to avoid them before weigh in. Strange I know
 
I get weighed on Saturday morning. I have breakfast just before my weigh in but I make sure I eat exactly the same thing every time. Well done on your loss. Ill have a peek at your page later. :)

Thanks. Yes im in the situation because I love food a bit too much. I dont see why that has to change just because im trying to lose weight. Ive got the bug again. :)

Just got back from my weigh in and I've lost another 5lb. very happy with that and that has taken me past my 1 stone award by 1 lb. plus I won slimmer of the week.

Total time: 30-60 Minutes

ingredients


Low calorie cooking spray
2 large Spanish onions, cut into thin wedges
1 red pepper, deseeded and cut into chunks
500g lean pork fillet, cut into chunks
2 tbsp paprika
300ml chicken or vegetable stock
6 tbsp fat free natural fromage frais
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Handful of roughly chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley (optional)
method


Spray a large frying pan with low calorie cooking spray. Add the onions and pepper and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the pork and cook for 4 minutes or until browned. Sprinkle over the paprika and cook for 1 minute. Add the stock to the pan and bring to the boil, then cover with a tight-fitting lid and simmer for 30 minutes.
Stir most of the fromage frais into the pork mixture and heat gently for 2 minutes. Season to taste, garnish with the remaining fromage frais and parsley, if using, and serve with boiled rice and Superfree vegetables of your choice.
Tip: Pork tenderloin is very lean and the vacuum-packed kind offers the best value.


*You can freeze this dish for up to 4 months just omit the fromage frais
