Fresh Tesco Pork Ribs do I need to syn them?

My H bought some from Tesco & I was going to make the syn free BBQ sauce to go with them but I'm not sure if I can have them.

I'm doing a red day, are these too fatty to be free?

I would imagine that if you remove any fat you can see on the ribs, they would be free. This is the case with any meat, afaik.
