So whilst I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't resist the urge to eat a cupcake and leftover icing from the pastry section at work, I'm very happy that when we went for a drink after work I resisted beer and had a low syn alternative. Also, when I got home - feeling as though I had blown it for the week - I reached for a half eaten pack of cookies, but managed to stop myself and say no and just go to bed. So although I've gone mega over my syns, a good day was had I feel :)

So I had my first 'official' weigh in back at group tonight, and I maintained. You may be thinking that's rubbish with it being my first week and all, but actually I'm very happy with that result!

You see the week started well, but with a combination of a few (unplanned) nights out drinking and falling ill with a cold - and therefore generally lots of feeling sorry for myself - I've not really been on plan for a good 4 days.

I've been keeping a handwritten food diary in a handwritten notebook too, but I have found the best way for me to stay fully on track is to plan and update my food on here as well.

I'm hoping if I can manage to stay on track for a full week then I will be in for the good loss that I should've expected this week in my first week! Ah well, I guess I'm in no rush as long as I get there :)

Wednesday 18th September - Extra Easy

Reeeeally enjoyed my cottage pie and veg for dinner :) Hoping I shake this cold off by tomorrow so I can get back to the gym.
 
I feel like I've eaten rather a lot today, but I think I needed to after eating way too much of the wrong stuff!) these past few days. I'm hoping I'll have shook this cold by tomorrow so I can get back to the gym for a big sesh. That'd be great if I could :D

So after 1 full day back on plan, I'm planning tomorrow's munchings..

Change of plan for dinner! My Dad fancies a fish & chips so I'm going to have a small battered cod and 2 pots of mushy peas :) Just checked syns online and a small fish is 10 syns with the batter on, which is better than I thought! I'm glad I've been to the gym though :D
 
Another good day only going a few over my syns. Pleased that with having a chippy tea sprung upon me I managed to resist a whole portion of chips to myself, and instead had fish and mushy peas. Small things eh :D

Here's the plan for tomorrow. Will be a tricky one as I'm going to TGI Fridays for dinner, but have a gym session planned so will try and cancel out some of the damage!

29.5 - so I'm over my syns (again!) today but I'm looking on the bright side due to the fact that I've not thrown the towel in! This time last week I was saying 'eff it' and well and truly falling off the wagon! So although I'm over my syns, I'm not too worried as I've been to the gym and managed to resist a lot of naughties today :)

Oops.. A chocolate cupcake just fell into my mouth :D 15 syns or so? I will work it off tomorrow doing a big gym sesh! ;)

Well I was right to be looking forward to my weigh in.. I lost 4.5lbs :D :D well happy! So yesterday was a little off plan as I celebrated my little victory haha :) But I'm feeling super motivated to get back on plan today and have another good loss next week hopefully!
